You could not ask for better service Claire Chandler has gone over and above the service I have received from many other large businesses I have dealt with in the past.
Staff are friendly. Dropped van off at 3pm for an overnight service called up next morning at 8 am to be told it wont be done until 3 pm waste of time would advise going anywhere else
For truckers who need to get their rig fixed, come in and turn right and find a space in the bays and park up and then head to reception with the keys. Friendly staff and not far from the main road.
Bit hard work with staff to be honest, no curiosity cars ,they don't seem to be set up for van only coaches and lorry's.l wanted a oil change didn't happen dent in drivers door.
The ladies in the office are very incompetent. Firstly they did not pass correct information to the workshop what we would like to check in our lorry. Then they did not tell me earlier that second key will be needed for the programming of the gearbox??? So I had to come back 30 miles to this workshop after 2 hours of droppping the vehicle to bring them the second key!! When I told them that we will not pay for the second check as this was agreed with the manager because it was their fault , the lady in the office turned on automatic replies that she is no longer in the office but she was there as my husband went to collect the truck and have spoken to her. Since that I never received reply for my last email and the money haven't been returned to me neither. This is the worst workshop experience I have ever had. We have second lorry which is DAF and DAF service has totally different standards of the Customer service and we never had similar problems like with MAN Totton. We will be definitely avoiding this "service". And the last thing is that the issue with the lorry came back after few days of repair but we did not take it back to the MAN as we did not want to get through this nightmare again! To all customers if you can please avoid it and try to find different MAN service!
