Warm welcoming relaxing and pleasant. So glad I found this salon. Staff are friendly and genuinely enjoy working for Alan. Fantastic hair cut and the head massage is the best ever. Consistent every time. Just wish I could afford to go every week.
Highly recommend! Karlton is great - he listened, gave very good advice, exactly what I wanted and works well with my hair type! For the first time, my haircut is easy to style and looks good even when I style at home myself. Definitely coming back!
Cannot recommend this salon enough! I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to have my hair cut by the lovely Phoenix Hayley Langridge, i threw this unsuspecting apprentice in at the deep end but she rose to the occasion beautifully! I love my new style so much, thank you for making it such an enjoyable experience!
Such a lovely experience. Simone is a fantastic hair artist , totally got what I wanted from one little reference photo.The advice was from her was excellent. The atmosphere in the salon is super calming . They have a sustainable approach there using only amazing natural products. I think I found my hair people for life !

I have been in the UK for 8 years and so far my experience with hair dressers has not been pleasant. I never got what I asked even if I had shown them pictures of the haircut I wanted from different angles. Today, I went for a ladies cut&finish with Bo, and I was so impressed! She is by far the best I have seen in Reading. Finally I was able to leave a hairdresser with a huge smile on my face. Highly recommend anyone! (:
Had my first appointment at Bloc Hair this week and had a great experience. Sam was fab, she carried out a really in-depth consultation for my hair and explained everything she was doing during the appointment. She gave me some great advice and tips, and I'm really happy with how the restyle came out! I can't wait to come back, Thank you Sam and Bloc!
I love getting my hair done. This was my first visit to Bloc and it was great! Alan gave me some fab advice, a cut that I like and also is really cool to chat to. Bonus points for the delicious wine! Need to stay longer next time so I can have another glass. Definitely recommend Bloc, they have the right ideas when it comes to sustainability and caring for customers and the planet, without damaging the salon experience. Loving the ideas.
