   Visited a week ago, my son doesn't enjoy visits to have his hair cut but this went very well. There was a bit of a wait but we were a walk in rather than booking. All staff were friendly and engaging. Anna did the haircut and was amazing, she worked with requests to use the clippers as little as possible. She was understanding, patient and gave my son a great style with a smile and friendly approach throughout. We will be going back, I can't recommend this place enough.

   Where would we be without our village Hairdresser! What a great little salon this has proven to be I have been a regular visitor for washes and blow dries for the last couple of months and They have never failed to accommodate me. I always leave happy with the service and with the bill. Not only have they been flexible but they have been really helpful too I really truly could not have been without this village Hairdresser a massive thank you to Amanda the owner and her family run business keep up the good work guys!

   I booked for cut and hilites as it was cheap... Big mistake.. Young blonde hairstylist was lovely but older lady was rude and left my hi lights far too long... Ruined my hair. Was rude to at least 2 other clients for no reason. Poor younger stylist was embarrassed.. Avoid this place. Unpleasant experience. And still trying to get my hair back to normal.

   The older of of 2 woman is so incredibly rude I decided to take my 6 year old else where. She was 15 mins late, insisted that I had the time wrong. Asked me, rudely as if I was breaking the rules, to put a mask on my child - which I would have done, if asked nicely. I can't see how anyone would return to this hairdresser with such an entitled and obnoxious woman running the show.

   I have been going to this hair salon for a year and a half and the staff are really friendly and the styles of my hair have been fantastic that they have done what I have requested. Unfortunately the let down is every time I have been to salon I have had a different hair dresser as they have constantly got stylists leaving so every time I have been I have had to explain what I want done even though it hasn’t changed from the time previously, my card they write my details on to log the treatment and colour I have gone missing that they had to do another patch test and re write my cards (was said they think they were taken by the stylists who left) and recently I asked to have a complete change to my current hair style (colour wise) and was asked to go in for a consultation which was booked in for 9.45am. I turned up to this to find the salon shut and the times on the door said they don’t open until 10am so no idea why they suggested that time to me. I have now booked to go somewhere else sadly as I would have liked to stay with this salon and as said previously the staff that are there (the owners) are great and friendly and they did meet my expectations with my hair on the colour/style etc but I want to be going somewhere that I have a one hairdresser who does my hair every time and not be asked to go for a consultation at a time they know they won’t be open and have no intention of getting there early to accommodate this. Wish this salon the best of luck as it has huge potential if they can get staff to stay.
