   Took my daughter here for a trim. Half way through the cut, the hairdresser sat on the phone for about 8 minutes. When asked if I was happy with her hair, I noticed that she hadn’t even touched the front ! Who cuts someone’s hair but only does the back?? Baffled. She did proceed to cut the front but only because I asked. A few days later I noticed that the back was wonky, luckily my daughter is only 7 so hasn’t picked up on it. It was £16 for a 5 minute, wonky, half job hair cut.

   My first visit today.. Wow! I was greeted with a smile, had consultation with Nicole about what I'd like done, had my hair washed (without being drenched!!) my hair was cut just as I'd requested and styled as I like it. Very clean saloon, friendly staff all made for a very pleasant experience and at £30 new customer rate very reasonable too. I've already booked next appointment.

   TJ's is a really fantastic salon, I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, they really listen to what you would like to have done without any pressure and offer very helpful advice and tips on how to get the best out of your hairstyle. I have had my hair cut by several of the stylists, including one very radical change of hairstyle, and the results have always been very impressive. You get the best hair wash, the best cut and best cup of tea I have had in any salon. Many thanks to the team at TJ's!

   It was my first time getting my hair done in a salon professionally and I was very happy with the service I received. I am very fussy and hard to please, but I went in and the staff were all so welcoming. I had a slight idea of what I wanted done, but I wasn't all so sure on the colours I should use or how my hair should be cut. So I spoke to the stylist and she was a great help, very understanding to my needs. She was having a conversation with me while being very focused on her work - it made me feel valued as a customer. There were a wide range of beverages to choose from, fantastic, affordable prices and they use only the best hair products that suits your hair! My hair turn out was perfect, there wasn't a complain in my mind! It was definitely worth it and I will be recommending friends and family with their recommend a friend offer!
