   I went there a few days ago with my friend, and she was so happy afterward that I said I have to try it too — and I’m so glad I did! I walked in today without an appointment, and Sandy and her daughter were absolutely amazing. Their customer service and communication were perfect, and they were so open and honest in helping me choose what would suit me best. They have a huge range of colours, and I found exactly the one I had in mind. I also asked for a small design, and Sandy created something that fit perfectly with what I wanted. Beyond the beautiful result, what really impressed me was the quality of their technique — I haven’t seen such good work in a long time. Both of them were so kind and polite that I truly felt at home in the salon. It’s rare to find this combination of professionalism, warmth, and skill. Highly recommend this lovely place!

   I’ve been to Crystal Nails twice, and I can confidently say I won’t be returning. Having had my nails done many times elsewhere, I know what decent customer service looks like — and this salon doesn’t meet it. When I tried to clarify and confirm what I wanted, the technician’s attitude shifted noticeably, becoming cold and dismissive. The front desk staff was unhelpful, and another technician injured me while buffering, constantly twisting and turning my hand repeatedly letting me know that my hand was ‘tense’. Again, I have done my nails COUNTLESS TIMES WITH NUMEROUS NAIL TECHNCIANS and I have never for once been told my hand was ‘tense’. Or perhaps that was my body’s way of letting me know how unrelaxed I am in this place. In all my experiences with nail technicians, I’ve never been treated this way. What makes this worse is the lingering thought that my race may have played a role in the service I received. While I can’t say for certain, the lack of care and respect I experienced makes that possibility difficult to ignore. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Crystal Nails and won’t be spending my money here again.

   I had such a wonderful experience at Crystal Nail! From the moment I arrived, the team were welcoming and made me feel at ease. They checked in with me at every stage, from shape to colour to design, ensuring everything was exactly how I envisioned it. I was so impressed by their precision and attention to detail, especially with the nail art, which was flawless. The salon itself is spotless and has a calm and inviting atmosphere. I left absolutely in love with my nails and will be recommending them to everyone I know!

   Had a full set of builder gel, and one of the nails tore within days. Went back for a repair. Tried to fob me off with a different colour as they said they didn’t have the one in stock that they used on me for months, which clearly wasn’t true. I got asked to return later in the day as they were busy. Came back from my appointment time, Was left waiting for 30 minutes and when I asked how much longer it would be, she said another 15 minutes. I wouldn’t waste your time Service here is dreadful. I Would also add that it was £50 for a set of builder gel with no colour over the top. Total rip-off

   I love going to Crystal Nails. Everyone is so friendly there. It’s reasonably priced and ideal location in the middle of town. They do simple designs and french tips well but also great for those who like to be more adventurous with their nails! Highly recommend!

   Love this salon! I visit them once a month for a fresh gel manicure and they’re always professional, kind, fairly priced and attentive to detail. The shop itself is very tidy, clean and gives a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

   I had terrible experience there. The lady who done my Nails last week was so rude constantly pulling my hand telling me to relax. The last thing I need going to places like that someone stress me and add to my already existing stress I have. She did spoiled my day. I will not be returning there for sure and won’t recommend to anyone. There are other nail bars more relaxing. Alex

   First time visiting, not the best experience. The result was not bad, but the customer service on the other hand was. The first lady that start working on my nails cut my finger, I had to ask to clean the wound myself. The second lady had a rude attitude throughout the whole service. There's a lot of potential but overall my experience was negative and I wouldn't recommend or visit again.

   This is my first visit and based on the following factors I conclude I will not be returning again. Asked for French nails to be done on Saturday, the lady named Sandy for some unknown reason displayed a patronising attitude towards me: she kept on telling me (rolling her eyes) "you need to relax, losen your shoulders, don't be tense, etc" and at one point told me not to talk to her otherwise she couldn't paint my nails properly. She nagged me around for atleast 10 times on me not being 'relaxed' in my position throughout our session, to which point I felt VERY uncomfortable and found it almost impossible to relax. Personally I think it doesn't matter how good your expertise are, you should work on your soft skills and be more polite. For gel polish she charged me a whopping £27+£5, £5 I presume was for removing old gel paint. I asked my friends and they agreed it was a rip off. (for the same set I can get it done for £20-£23) To make things worse the hefty bill did nothing to justify the quality or finish. The nail on my thumb started chipping only after 2 days because she buffed my nails too hard and they have weaken. Needless to say, I am very annoyed to say the least.
