   Slightly odd experience - - Upon arrival, no acknowledgement despite three men standing around. I asked to leave the key for the MOT and got some very blank looks. Not very welcoming. - Tried to convince me my screen wash piping was 'bunged up' and would need work to pass the MOT. After informing them that the reservoir is just empty, the issue seemed to be resolved (surely this would be your first check??) - They changed a bulb for £10 - lasted two days. So had to change it myself, and it is now working fine. The lady in the reception during the afternoon, however, was very friendly.

   Great experience with BCL, took my car in for a service & MOT and had great communication from the staff regarding some minor repairs needed to get my Astra roadworthy again, they managed to source some obscure parts for me and kept me informed throughout the process.    If I could, I would give them a thousand stars! I came to BCL after being disappointed by another scammy garage. They took the time to walk me through my car and showed me why the previous issues flagged were incorrect. They also completed my MOT in record time at an affordable price and even provided a courtesy car, as I was worried I might need it for work – which I didn’t end up using because they fixed mine so quickly. The staff are very friendly and considerate, which, as a woman who’s been disdain in other garages, is a BIG DEAL! This is now my new, trustworthy go-to garage. Thank you!

   Great service from a knowledgeable team. My MOT was carried out in less than 2 hours...which included repair to my handbrake and replacing a side bulb. Very reasonable prices. UPDATE: Today (6th June 2018) I received a phone call from the Southampton police, stating that my car registration, was flagged to a black Volvo S40, registered in Liverpool? My car is the Volvo S80 in grey/green. I took my car back to BCL Autocentre and they confirmed that they had spoken to the police. Eventually the team...after checking registration plate, chassis number and double checking the DVLA website...performed ANOTHER MOT and gave me a clean bill of health...well not me...the Volvo!!! Highly impressed by the service from both BCL and the Police. UPDATE: 08/12/2020. Took my car in for its MOT and was told it had failed the test. They explained the advisories and offered me several options. But in the end, I accepted their quote and decided to have all remedial and urgent work carried out. My car was ready in under 24 hours. Brilliant work from a great team. Peace of mind and hopefully a few years of trouble free motoring...all for less than £500!!! Highly trusted and highly recommended.
