I would highly recommend Monksbrook! I was quoted over £800 for a full service and MOT by Audi, but with Steve, it was only £470, and included a decent tire. I dropped my car off early in the morning, and it was completed by midday. The service was absolutely brilliant! My husband was also very impressed with the service and prices hes booked his car in for a service and mot. The location on a farm is also quite nice!
Trustworthy and reliable! Had my car here to be serviced previously and I had no complaints there, reasonable price and work was done as expected. Had it back in to address a leak but after they got it up to look at it I was advised that everything was dry and the fluid levels were where they should be! I was able to pick my car back up, I was shown with it on the ramp and to top it off I wasn't even charged even though I offered. Rare to find a business that you can trust so I will certainly be continuing to use going forward!
Steve Monk and his team are the most helpful and professional garage I've ever used. Don't be put off by the unit being up a farm track - they have good workshops and work to a high standard. Despite good prices the car is always cleaned inside and under the bonnet when I collect it. They are very helpful too - taking work at short notice when clearly busy and helping the wife when her car broke down. I'll continue to use them. April 2024: Updating this review I wrote in 2019, everything I wrote still stands. This is an excellent and trustworthy garage and i still use it regularly for my and my daughter's VWs.
Excellent service received here. Run by a friendly, knowledgeable chap. VAG specialist. First visit here for an oil change and oil level sensor replacement. Perfect end result. Great communication. Car well looked after. Reasonable price. Easy to find. Will return here next time we need some work done on our Audi A3 or Seat Leon. Happy customer.

Great service from Steve, had my VW T5 recovered to him with a broken drive shaft. All diagnosed and fixed within a few hours.
Mine and my partners car was under warranty and I had spent a lot of time calling up garages who specialised in audi repairs and accepted the warranty company, many of whom were extremely overpriced. Based on other Google reviews I decided to call Monks Auto and I'm so glad I did! Most of my communications were with Steve however my partner spoke to another mechanic (who's name I unfortunately don't know, sorry!), both were wonderful. The customer service was incredible, and they were a delight to talk to making things incredibly easy for me, a person with absolutley zero car knowledge as my partner couldn't communicate with them regularly due to work commitments. Steve provided me with constant updates, as well as sitting on the phone to my warranty company for 5 plus hours over 2 days! He spoke openly and honestly with me about the car, was exceptionly speedy and even fixed some sort of upholstery issue behind one of our front tires out of the goodness of his heart. Myself and my partner are moving shortly and Monks Auto will no longer be local to us, however we will continue to drive to Southamptom to use them due to the incredible service, quality of the repairs and general wonderful attitude of the staff! Our MOT is due next month and we Will undoubtedly be contacting Steve for this. Thank you so much to everyone involved In the repairs, general admin and service we received with this repair, in 26 degree heat yesterday it was lovely to have our Aircon working!
