Great experience with Bartley garage today. Brake fluid service was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Would be happy to recommend and will certainly use again.
Bartley Garage....Well if you would like to be ignored? try calling these unproffesional cowboys ..... I assume they are so busy they just don't need your business. Went for diagnostics in March booked in 2 weeks later Dermot looked a it blank (not difficult he seems a bit thick) and had forgot..... He told me the parts had had not yet arrived. It is now June and despite several calls and a request to call me back... nothing. I would give 0 out of ten and avoid these fools
I bought a BMW from one of there customers who had put his car in for a timing chain replacement he drove car there the night before then received a phone call next day to say that a upper chain guide bolt had snapped off on the head and would require head removal and machine cost to remove broken stud and rethreaded with a cost of around £6000 the customer did not want to spend that much so decided to sell car for repair. I bought the car from him to remove head and replace broken stud then rebuild. So I thought! now what I found was shocking not only had they caused the damage and broke the stud they had also snapped lower guide bolt in the block plus some bright spark had also turned the engine over with no timing chain installed as a result bent the valves and damaged the piston. I am a mechanic with over 40 years experience this was pure negligence by a unskilled technician I am also documented this for my YouTube channel as people need to be aware of this as they wanted the customer to pay for their negligence destroying his engine and then trying to hide what they had done .

In the last year I've called Bartley twice about problems with my 4 series cabriolet. On each occasion I've been fobbed off and told "nothing we can do, go to a BMW dealer" This I did, and Partridge BMW solved both problems swiftly. I don't know why Bartley call themselves "BMW Specialists" - they certainly don't specialise in 4 series cabriolet. I now use Partridge BMW for all my services, and to be quite honest, they're not much more expensive, and far more efficient

Dermot was the only one in the Southampton area who would do a transmission service on my BMW 530D F11. The gear changes are now silky smooth. I have been using this garage on a regular basis for all my BMW service and repairs. Would definitely recommend.
A good reason to buy a BMW, I have had an x6 for 7 years had a couple of faults and they have been swiftly dealt with at a modest price. Now with 118k, the last full service and vehicle check were very reasonable and professional. You are dealing with the owners of the business and people that know what they are doing. Say no more
