Visited recently for the first time and was so impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and it had a really nice cosy welcoming feeling about the place. The owner in particular was very welcoming and really went all out to ensure everyone was happy.

One of if not the best coffees I’ve had, with having worked in cafes and restaurants frequently over past ten years. Food is absolutely surreal, 10/10, never been let down yet. The atmosphere cozy and welcoming and the staff are always friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

Just grabbed a bacon, egg, and sausage roll from Bothy 57, and overall, it was a hit! The bacon was perfectly crispy – just how I like it – and the egg was cooked really nicely too. My only minor quibble was with the sausages; they were a bit too herby for my personal taste, and I would have preferred a more straightforward plain pork or beef butcher sausage. However, the roll was absolutely packed with filling, which was great to see. To wash it down, I had a flat white, and it was excellent – nice and strong, and a generous size too. Definitely keen to return and try more from their menu!

Small cafe in a picturesque village. Service was friendly but unfortunately inattentive and forgetful, and slow to deliver. Had sandwich with salad. Coffee was ok. Dog friendly.

Nice café, dog and family friendly with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. There is a great selection for vegans and meat eaters alike. Will definitely be coming again.

It's always lovely to be back here after a long saturday ride. Today, the staff included regulars Steve and Jill; bolstered by Sharon and Phil. The latter bringing their own fun mature attitude to the bothy, looking forward to seeing them here more often. Today, I had cappuccino with an extra shot, plus my favourite pancakes with cranberry sauce, camembert, and bacon. The only change I would make would be to have larger diameter pancakes and less height. What's your favourite combination? Highly recommended for good food service and local intrigue. Cycle parking available.

Good little cafe with great coffee! Only negative comment is you come out smelling of bacon!

Excellent bacon rolls and soup. Friendly service if a little slow, would prefer a bigger choice of cakes. The coffee is very good and nice big cups.
