Took my 13yr old son for a haircut today. Jack did such an incredible job. We’ve been struggling for years to find a barber that can cut African hair and Jack totally nailed it .
I took my son for a haircut today with Jack. He was absolutely amazing. My son’s hair is not easy to cut due to it being Afro, but he took a lot of time and care in perfecting it. Did the right choice when picking ‘Against The Grain’ out of all barbershops in central Camberley. Sharp skin fade and beard trim by Pete, and great customer service too.

Jack and Jamie are by far hands down two of the best barbers in the local area - skinfade and beard on point every single time and have delivered the best experience compared to anyone else I have ever encountered over the last 10+ years, I highly recommend!
I first came across Jack in Reading in 2017, where he lined me up nicely. 5 years later I now travel from Reading to Camberley for a trim because he consistently gives me a wicked skin fade and shape up, even with my receding hairline! His haircuts follow a logical and fluid process whilst being quick and precise. Against the Grain is a clean, light and comfortable shop. Always a good experience.
