   I have been going to Istanbul Barbers on Caversham Road for years, but it’s not the same anymore. The original owner has gone, and since the new people took over the standards have completely collapsed. The barber I had was rude, unprofessional, and cut my beard wrong. He spoke in his own language the whole time, showed no respect, and at the end told me to get up and go. On top of that, I was still charged £40 for one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a barbershop. This place used to have pride and quality, but now it’s gone downhill fast. I won’t be going back.

   It’s been my barber for the last 10 years. I moved a few years ago but still drove there, I used to really like it. Today the haircut was badly done and I mentionned it. I suppose the hairdresser didn’t like the critic and his behaviour changed drastically. He washed my hair with icy cold water (never happened in 10 years) and burned my ear during waxing (no doubt on purpose). I put a stop to the waxing. That is shocking and abusive behaviour. Needless to say I will never be going back. I just wanted to warn others.

   Been letdown twice. Will never go there again I am blind and was told my hair dresser would be there. Went there in rain and then told he is not there. They lie to me and think they can succeed in their business. Last hair cut they messed it all up inspire of me showing a picture and then the cutter told his manager it was not that picture I showed him .After all that I still fave him £5 tipp but today's experience had put me off completely. Even Sajid who was supposed to cut my hair is not answering my call. Can't trust them anymore.

   Mehmut does an amazing job here, my go to guy for a skin fade and an eyebrow thread. Always goes the extra mile and always offers customers tea/coffee which is a nice touch, Been going for 4 years and will continue to go here for the foreseeable future!!
