I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome — the atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and stylish without being pretentious. My barber took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and absolutely nailed the cut.
Huge respect to Ali and junior Ali. Best barbers about and give great attention to detail when it comes to giving a 10/10 trim. Can't fault their services! Moment you walk in you get asked if you want water or coffee! Not much waiting around as theres always a minimum of 4 barbers cutting
I've switched barbers around the Tilehurst area a few times in the past couple of years due to various reasons including high turnovers of staff, inconsistencies in how each barber operates, and time taken to be seen. I started at Top Man in Jan 2025, and have never had a bad experience. The staff are attentive, have a personality, and always make every customer feel welcome. Even on the weekend when there are lots of people waiting, I've never had to wait longer than 10-15 mins before I'm seated. I tend to visit every 3-4 weeks and they always go above and beyond to ensure I get the best possible service.
I've been coming to this barbers for a long time, to get my grandsons hair cut. Never have to wait too long. Friendly shop which makes the experience even better. Ali cuts my grandsons hair and always does a fantastic job. They've never had a bad haircut here. Current and up to date! The boys always leave happy!!
Very friendly service. My kid never felt comfortable anywhere else. Quality and reasonable prices. Don't need appointments.
Amazing experience at Top Man Turkish Barbers in Tilehurst Reading experts at skin fade and beard shaping all staff very friendly and you come out of the shop feeling like a new man also very good with my children always offer hot or cold drinks while you wait
I am visiting this barbers for a year now. I am really happy for the service I received. I was welcomed with smiles, I was asked if I wanted a drink. My hair was cut and styled as I wanted. Highly recommend. They are not overpriced, great value for money.
Great hair and beard cut. I go fairly regularly and am always impressed with the quality and service. Try to avoid lunch times or just after school as can get really busy.
