   Very threatening and coercive mechanic/owner and receptionist. When I simply asked to check the car over after the mechanic/owner had completed his work, he responded, "Are you calling me a liar?!!!" And, there was no VAT receipt produced and the receptionist resorted to writing a handwriten receipt on a post-it note, and she didn't include the amount paid, in the first instance. While a detailed invoice was produced, that is only an invoice and not a VAT receipt, a so-called 'till receipt'. The owner/mechanic then proceeded to say, "In all my 40 years as a car mechanic, I've never been asked for this." Obviously, you've never met a customer who knows the law!
