   Today my friend had a flat tyre when parked at The Bottle Kiln and I phoned Millhouse Garage at West Hallam and within 10 minutes they sent a really nice lad who changed the tyre.    Had always used a main dealership for my service and MOT, but their pricing became too expensive. I knew a few of the locals had used this garage over the years and only had favourable comments to make, so I decided to make the break and try Millhouse. I am so glad I did, they carried out a service and MOT, and advised on future work that would be required as noted on the advisory section of the MOT. They didn't push for the work but I booked it in anyway and everything was carried out professionally, and I was pleased with the price quoted. There were no additional costs when I picked the car up. All in all great service, not pushy, and friendly staff as well. No hesitation in recommending them.

   I bought a Vauxhall Movano from them last week & I could not be more pleased with the quality of service I received. James could not have been more helpful. The Van was MOT'd (two new rear tyres were fitted) & serviced (new cambelt & front headlights buffed) & delivered to my home address some 2 hours away for free. I can honestly say I have never received such good service from any other garage ever...Thank you.

   Absolutely shocking service, get told car will be fixed/mot’d by a certain day and it never is resulting in us not knowing when we will have our car back. Also they don’t seem to check their own work resulting in multiple trips back to get original problem fixed. And courtesy car is a death trap and poorly looked after.

   I’d just like to say what a fantastic garage, being a lady I find going to a garage very intimidating and fear being ripped off , but not this one very chatty, friendly professional and a laugh . I would definitely recommend the garage not just for their approach but also going above and beyond their job. They took the time to explain what the problem was and how to prevent it happening in the future to prevent unnecessary costs. I would highly recommend this garage.

   Bought a car from them last year - they discovered an issue with the boot locking AFTER purchase and said they would fix this before collection. Part didn't arrive in time before collection, so said bring it back to be fixed in future. Have since contacted them about picking up the part (family live more locally than me) and have been ignored. Left a voicemail and messaged on Whatsapp (which was very responsive during purchase) still haven't heard anything after months. I need the part as my boot is broken. No other issues with the car but feels dishonest.

   Problems with rear brakes (metal on metal sound), and was able to get booked in within a few days. Very friendly and helpful people. They rang and quoted a price and when I collected my car the job was done but priced lower than the quote! They were able to repair and replace brakes without needing any additional work so money saved. Well done, good people will not rip off their customers. Happy to recommend them and will use them again for service and MOT.
