Mechanics went above and beyond when I was in an emergency. I recently purchased a car that had an issue that could not be diagnosed by the garage I purchased from. I rang elms up and asked if they could squeeze me in for a very quick emergency diagnostic in which they did very quickly and professionally. Two mechanics showed me the exact issues that needed sorting and then got me a quote which I can reference. To top all of that, I noticed a minor mistake where they got the reg plate of my vehicle wrong to which I emailed them expecting a response in the morning after a phone call. Elms garage ended up actually emailing me back at 9 a clock at night. Will be a returning customer.

Mechanical car repairs, tried to rip me off because I didn't know the names of the parts that needed replacing, he tried to take advantage of that, so quoted me a high price, went to another garage got the job done for half his quote including the parts

I've been coming to FD Elms since I passed my driving test over 27 years ago. I live near a couple of other garages but always come a bit further to FD Elms. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and they really look after you. Excellent service, good quality and friendly approachable staff.
My friends used this garage for many years and I started bringing my cars here for service only when they passed away, I could kick myself for not getting my cars serviced at Elms before now, my Golf runs perfect and my wife's car a lot older and a challenge is always looked after by good professional engineers. The staff are friendly and always ready to help out when needed. Don't won't to say too much praise for them as I want to make sure they always have time to fit me in.
