   First time experience here, beautiful salon but the main issue was that the lady doing my nails was rushing too much. That lead to me not getting to look through the colour properly, got a painful cut on my hand, not even attempting to have small talk with me (only talking to her coworker in their native language) and all of these leading to lower quality of nails. My tip has chipped, the surroundings were not filed properly and look a bit messy.

   I came in as a walk in and was seated almost immediately, I had previously gotten my nails done at another salon, and unfortunately, they were thick, uneven, and just not what I wanted. Thankfully, the lovely lady who did my nails here was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, professional, and really took the time to fix the mess I came in with. She transformed my nails completely shaped them beautifully, made them look natural and elegant, and even cleaned up my cuticles free of charge. Her attention to detail and gentle touch made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. I honestly don’t see myself going anywhere else from now on. This is hands down the best my nails have ever looked. Highly Highly recommend!!!

   I had a disappointing experience at this salon. I initially went in to remove my acrylic nails and get a fresh gel set. I was 30 minutes late for my appointment, and due to time constraints, the staff informed me they couldn’t do the removal and offered a refill instead, which I agreed to. I also asked for chrome nails, and based on their suggestion — due to the darker base — we went with a darker nude under the chrome. While I agreed to all their recommendations, I could tell the technician was rushing through the process. I remained patient, but unfortunately, within just 24 hours, the nails started chipping. As I was visiting the area, my friend kindly helped me call the salon to raise the issue. The response over the phone wasn’t helpful at first, and only after much back and forth did they agree to fix one nail. When I noticed more nails were also chipping, I requested a full redo, but they refused. I was then directed to their other branch across from Wendy’s. However, the staff there were rude and also unwilling to help. They blamed the previous salon, even though it was this salon that made all the recommendations and did the actual work. I believe a business should be open to customer feedback, especially when issues arise so soon after the service. I’m truly disappointed with how the situation was handled and wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

   Awful customer service. I did show them the pictures of the nails for their better understanding and the type of nails which I want them to do for me. Overall, they did a decent job and colour matched with the picture but each nail was done with different length and the finished nails did not last for more than 2 days. They started to look like they are already 2 weeks old (photos are attached which were taken after 5 days). I went back to the salon and asked if they can do something about it. I did not ask them for refund, rather all I wanted was a better customer service with some solution to the problem with a clear acknowledgement of the problem of their service. Instead they just said "your nails grow". (I wish my nails can grow that fast). It looks like they just can not accept any criticism about their service and try to play the racisim card if somebody try to tell them about the problem in their service. This behaviour made me extremely sad and I am surprised that this kind of behaviour still exist. That was my experience with Amy Nails. Maybe your experience would be different than mine. Choose wisely.

   Best place for nails in Reading! The shop itself is beautifully decorated and centrally located, I love looking out the window during my appointments and watching the world go by! All the technicians are great and the nail art they do is fantastic! Highly recommend

   I’ve been coming to Amy’s for a couple months now and they’ve been exceptional every single time if I could give more than five starts I would! The team are friendly and always work hard to ensure the best final results that always last me weeks with no chipping or lifting. Their nail art is second to none and their attention to detail with the art is amazing and they’ve always been able to give me exactly what I ask for. I’ve always been so happy with their work and I’ll definitely be a lifelong customer!

   overall lovely experience and will definitely be back !! staff were very friendly and flexible in terms of booking times and design ideas; the nail art i wanted was so intricate but was done so well I’m so happy :’) salon had a lovely interior and atmosphere, thank you all once again
