   Great looking pub, great service and helpful staff. However, that's as good as it gets........food was awful. Ordered steak pie, got to be the worst plate of food I've ever ordered. There were 4 bits of beef on the plate !. The waitress asked if everything was OK and I told here about the meagre portion of beef served........she came back with another 2 pieces !!!. AVOID, if you're looking for decent food it was awful.

   Dispite the lunch crowd, the waiter was attentive and took my order quite quickly. I tried the haggis fritters which is really delicious. I so wanted to have the sticky toffee pudding, which was really yummy, until I found some pieces of plastic, little bits of it. At first I thought it was just one off, then followed 3 more bits. Well I think the chef was having a tough day. I wasnt charged for the pudding, however, there was no apology though which was a real let down, hence my 3 star rating. No doubt the food is good.

   A great place to come have a drink or a bite to eat. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing although I just got a pick 3 it hot dishes were hot and the hummus was amazing!

   The Wild Boar is our chosen meeting place once a month (for my friend and I). The interior is very homey and relaxed, comforting even. Staff is very welcoming and quick to see to their customers. Food is typical pub food, so not much to say on that. Drinks are not the cheapest, but could be worse! Service is relatively quick and we always leave feeling satisfied. We will definitely be keeping this place as our monthly meet up point!

   Went for a meal and drinks with a friend after work on Friday. The vegan beyond burger was so good. Atmosphere was really nice and the music wasn't too loud that we couldn't hear each other. Spent 7 hours there and the staff all said bye to us at closing! My first time there and will definitely go back!

   Best pub in Aberdeen City Centre for food and drinks in my opinion. The decor is lovely, very cosy and welcoming. Staff were very friendly and couldn't be more attentive. I had the chicken burger with chips and a salad which was delicious, accompanied by a great gin and to follow the warm chocolate fudge cake with custard. Overall, food was delicious, for great prices and we really enjoyed our night. Will be back!
