I have been coming to this surgery for several years and rate the team as top class. The receptionist is very polite and welcomes everyone. I have never experienced long waits. The dentist is always attentive, informative and ensuring I am comfortable during treatment. I have total confidence in the Pasadena team.

The actual dentists at Pasadena are wonderful at their jobs and I can't fault the care we received here during our time with them. The receptionist however (middle aged blonde lady - wish I knew her name) is extremely rude, patronizing and unprofessional. She really singlehandedly creates a bad name for the whole surgery which is such a shame, I am shocked as to how she has managed to keep her job here. Would advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

I would not go anywhere else for dental treatment, unless I was stuck in another country. She always does her best to make the procedures as painless as possible, and has a genuine interest in your welfare.

Extremely rude receptionist! Myself and my partner have been looking for a dentist to sign up to in Southampton, and were given a personally recommendation for Pasadena. My partner phoned a few days previously and was told that they are currently taking NHS patients. Online, the opening times were until 6pm on Mondays, so we pulled up ready to go in at just gone 5. A sign outside the dentist said open until 5pm on Mondays, so we thought there must be a mistake online, and didn't ring the bell. I phoned the dentist the next day to see if we could have forms sent over email, which isn't possible, so I thought I'd check what time they are open until on Mondays, and was told it was in fact 6pm. So I said I’ll pop along the next Monday. The phone call was very rushed on their part, and I didn't feel like the person on the other end of the phone had time to listen to my questions. We went along on the next Monday and rang the bell. The receptionist let us in but did not greet us, and quickly returned to what they had been doing. I thought this person might be a patient at first because they appeared to be dressed in gym clothes and we were given no greeting. We had to find our way to the waiting room, and the receptionist then blankly looked at us. I said "hi, just wondering if we can register as NHS patients." She frowned and said "Well, there's a long waiting list, when did you last get your teeth checked?" I said "Quite a while ago", she then huffed and repeated that there is a waiting list (not what we were told on the phone) and then said “And we're closing!" She sounded irritated, and at this time it was 5.20pm, not even close to 6pm (the time I was told that they close). The receptionist then said "You'll have to take these forms away with you, post them back and just wait." So I said okay that's fine and smiled, remaining polite throughout as I don’t like conflict. As we were leaving the dentist, the receptionist rushed out just after us and got into her car. I don't expect this kind of customer service; especially after hearing what a great dentist they are who are supposed to be focussed around giving excellent customer service. We were left shocked and completely put off by this treatment!

A great dentist that knows her stuff. Had two fillings that had gone undetected by my previous dentist for God knows how long. Work done in quick time with no fuss and while being kept up to date with what she was doing at all time. One filling was done without injection and I didn't feel a thing! Reception is a little outdated but that doesn't detract from the service received. Highly recommend.
