    This is probably the best pub I visited during my stay in Aberdeen. Inside the University grounds, it has a nice selection of ales and a huge selection of whiskys, a great laid-back atmosphere, friendly service and the food also looked tasty (didn't try it though). Top prices also. Highly recommended!

    Great bar, the lively institution serving Aberdeen's university community and Old Aberdeen for 150 years. Lovely atmosphere and a fantastic selection of beers and spirits. Good selection of classic Scottish food we did not have the time to try on this occasion.

    Famous for a reason. Right in the middle of old architecture this small pub sports local taps that include several nitro and three cask conditioned. Also registered with CAMRA Their Whisky selection is incredible and the staff know a lot about their collection. Everything is reasonably priced and everyone was friendly. A must stop place.
