This is my second visit to Spondon Dental. Whilst my previous dentist was very good, I have to say that I found this dentist to be excellent. The whole process of assessment and treatment was explained clearly and I was given options regarding treatment and payment which I found very helpful. The hygienist , Celia, made me feel relaxed and the process of having my teeth cleaned and polished was painless, much to my relief so I am very pleased with all concerned, thankyou.
For the first time in 75 years I feel relaxed when going to the dentist. Gita does everything she can to put me at ease. She is capable and caring. I love the screen showing aspects of nature (usually birds) that I can watch while she works. It's a wonderful distraction.
After carrying a real dental phobia for over 50 years my teeth were at the stage where something really needed to be done, after searching google for phobia friendly dentist I phoned Spondon dentist, explained my situation and made an appointment. Right from my first appointment Gita put me at ease, she explained clearly and in detail everything that was going to happen and made it clear I was in control and we could take a break anytime I needed one. I have since had several extractions / fillings and have felt relaxed at every visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending Spondon Dental.

What a fantastic dentist and practice!! I had not been to a dentist for some time due to a horrific experience at my previous practice. I called Spondon Dental and booked in with complete ease, not telling them of my previous experience. Before my appointment, the lovely receptionist Emily called to go through a Covid questionnaire, this was clear and concise with no time wasted. When I turned up to my appointment, an extremely friendly dental nurse (sorry I didn't catch your name) welcomed me in with hand sanitiser and a temperature check. She instantly made me feel welcome and relaxed. Taking me through to the dentist, she explained what was going to happen and it put me even more at ease. Meeting Dr Neel, he is very friendly and genuine. Explaining everything in detail without all of the dental jargon. He made me fully aware of the plan I needed and what our next steps were, all of the time making sure I understood and was happy to proceed. I left my appointment to settle up with Emily and book in my future appointments which was painless. I really would recommend this practice! I've had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone about it!!
