I recently had a very disappointing experience with John Clark Jaguar Land Rover in Stirling. My vehicle had a persistent engine management light, with fault codes relating to NOx emissions. I was advised to pay Β£198 for a full vehicle assessment, which I did, and was told the issue would be resolved by replacing the EGR valve and a few other parts β costing me over Β£530. Despite specifically asking if these repairs would fix the issue for good, I was reassured that they would. However, just a day after collecting my car (and having driven less than 70 miles), the engine light reappeared. When I returned to the garage, I was told Iβd now need to spend another Β£200 to address new issues β which I find baffling, as I had already seen these fault codes myself (using a basic OBD tool) before their initial assessment. If they were there all along, why werenβt they addressed in the first place? And if they genuinely are new, how could they possibly arise less than 24 hours after a supposed fix? To make things worse, the team was uncooperative and unsympathetic, offering no real accountability or explanation for why I had to spend Β£750 with no resolution. The only suggestion was to now spend even more. Iβve raised these concerns with customer support, but so far, no meaningful solution has been offered. I feel let down, misled, and frankly out of pocket for repairs that didnβt fix the problem. Would not recommend.

I was misled by Mark, a car salesman from JC Perth, who claimed the vehicle I purchased had a single previous owner, which was a key requirement in my search. However, once the paperwork arrived, it became clear the car has actually got three previous owners. Additionally, on the drive home, a flat tire warning appeared. I refilled the tire, but the warning reappeared just two days later, indicating unresolved issues with the car. This experience reflects an incredibly unprofessional approach from the dealership. I would not recommend John Clark.

Purchased second hand bike and got delivered; bike damaged in transit, but sales dept got panniers repainted, I took white paint from van off mirror. First time used; pre ride checks, rear tyre 25psi instead of 42psi. Concerns over possible slow puncture or tyre not sealing on rim. Heated grips not working, left completely dead and right tepid at best. Let sales department know and they passed to service; I got call from service to book in and date for collection set; was told this was due to department being quiet. Got bike back today but all in all they had bike for nearly 3 weeks. I had to instigate updates and found staff in service department less than helpful. Not the same quality of service that John Clark BMW was known for.

Bought a new M4 but I didn't like it so I sold it after six weeks only to be told it still had finances on it. So John clark sold me a car with finances still outstanding. Then I bought a New 7 series and after six months still no log book went into Aberdeen to ask about it and was told its a mix up with the Dundee dealer. Got my private plate transferred onto it in November and went to get it taxed on March only to be told by DVLA that I don't own the car? . I have tried to get this sorted out but still nothing now I can't use my car as my insurance company must know the owner of the car. It was a x demonstration car from Dundee shocking service from this bunch of clowns now going into the hands of my lawyer

I bought my VW golf from John Clark in November 21. I first contacted a sales rep in regards the vehicle, not knowing much about cars I asked my nephew, a mechanic, to speak on my behalf and ask about the history, what John Clark did to the car in regards vehicle checks etc.. the rep said John Clark thoroughly check any used cars that come through them and anything that needs doing within six months, MOT, service etc.., is done to the highest standard, also a twelve month warranty is on all their cars. With all this information I obviously went ahead with the purchase. As I live in Scarborough and the car was in the Dundee branch the obvious way forward was for the car to be delivered to my home address at a cost of around Β£300, to me. I accepted this. John Clark couldn't get it transported for around three weeks, at great inconvenience to me, I accepted this. The day of delivery, I booked a day off work, I was called the rep said he was sorry but the car was still in the forecourt and he would get it to me the next day, as way of an apology he would have the GTD badge sent to me as the one on the front of the car was worn. I accepted this, still no badge has arrived. Approximately six weeks and less than 800 miles driven the service light came on. I contacted John Clark and spoke to the head and of sales, he checked the cars history and said that the car hadn't been serviced and apologised. I accepted this. He said for me to get a quote from a garage and John Clark would pick up the bill, this took almost two weeks as the accounts department were given the wrong contact details for me. I accepted this Finally the car goes in and the mechanic highlights the NSF wheel bearing needs to be replaced, I ring John Clark and I'm told to contact the warranty company who say I have to have further inspection done on the car to see if they will cover the cost or not. I accepted this. The car goes in for further investigation and now the OSF wheel bearing needs replacing, I again have to speak to the warranty company to see if they will cover this aswell. I accepted this. I have now owned the car for less than four month's and, including service, the car has been in the garage four times at a massive inconvenience to me. As I write this I am currently, around, Β£800 down untill the warranty company send me the money, all of the above is caused by John Clarks failure to deliver a service that I have paid for. I have been mislead, inconvenienced and completely let down by John Clark, they have failed to deliver on any of the company's values in regards to me and my custom, I fully appreciate a 15k sale is probably a little sale for them but it says nothing in the company's values and beliefs that I will be treated poorly because it's a little sale. I will never buy another car from John Clark as I feel I came to them in good faith and have been totally let down, I am writing this to warn any potential customers who may get the same treatment. Do not buy a car from these charlatans.

Iβve used Gerry & the team at John Clark Motor Group 3 times over the last couple of years. Bought 2 new cars & sold a car both using the Aberdeen & Stirling branches. Excellent customer service & seem to go above and beyond to help you out. Great to use a dealership I can trust!

The Dundee Bodyshop has gone beyond the standard in providing service in these COVID times. We were forced to leave our car for repairs as we returned home to Canada. Debbie and Roy among others not only helped to repair the car, they stored in and are now helping to get it sold. They never asked for anything in return and have been very courteous and understanding. This experience is unique and truly appreciated. I would heartily recommend the Roy Clark - Dundee Bodyshop for not only their work but also their professionalism. Rob, Vancouver Canada

Awful customer service, the chap who I assume is the manager who sits behind the glass up the steps makes you feel like a nuisance and an annoyance - not a paying customer. Truly horrible experience. If you can avoid this garage I would recommend you do.
