This is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist, I walked in a nervous wreck but was soon put at ease by Mr Cunningham and Fiona. The treatment I had was excellent I couldn't be happier, I been given back my smile. I wish I had found this dentist a long time ago.
The dentist is very pleasant and makes you feel relaxed. He went out of his way to not cause me any pain or discomfort. He used anaesthetic gel to do my scale and polish as i have sensitivity. It was far less uncomfortable than previous teeth cleaning ive had with other dentists. He also took the time to talk me through flossing which was very useful. Also the waiting room only plays very quiet classical music which i very much appreciate. Everywhere these days bombards you with annoying pop music. The dental nurse/receptionist is also very nice, helpful, and calm too. Its not like any dentist ive been to previously. Will definitely make it my regular dentist.
Old Forge House has one of the best reception and waiting rooms I have seen, for cleanliness and furniture. As for the Dental area itself, it’s immaculate, and the most up to date equipment. I have been a patient of Eldridge for many years. He always has a smile, that’s what one needs. As a Dentist, he is excellent. Explains everything, and makes you feel at ease. Not forgetting the Dental Assistant Fiona. I highly recommend Old Forge House! If you are not a patient, you should apply now!
I am a very nervous patient but thanks to Eldridge and Fiona they are very kind and do their best to put me at ease. My 2 fillings and a clean went well yesterday. I will be returning in December for a check up.
No issues booking in for yearly dental checkup. Relaxing waiting room, gentle lighting, screen above dental chair with video from barrier reef playing with turtles fish etc swimming around. Friendly dentist and assistant, puts you at ease, shows interest in you. Thorough check of teeth, explains exactly what he has found or what treatment needs doing, answers all questions, doesn't rush you. Explains exactly what he will do before doing it. Gives you all options. On the expensive side, but I think worth the money, for the quality, professionalism and calm atmosphere.
I found this dentist in an emergency after I cracked a tooth. They fit me in the same day to check it then the next day got it sorted. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff put me at ease. Can't recommend them enough!
Old Forge Dental are simply the best. I had a wisdom tooth extraction this week with Dr. Cunningham. He is exceptionally patient and very careful. I didn’t even realise he had taken the tooth out until I was biting down on gauze! Excellent. 10/10. Brilliant with nervous patients.
As a patient who has always been very nervous I would happily visit again! The dentist was very friendly and reassuring which put you at ease throughout. Would definitely recommend!
