    Worst garage ever. I took my vehicle to get a sensor changed initally, which took ages, my mot was due also so i asked them to check it over for me, over a wk later they finally got bk to me to say it had failed on some things and theyd sent for parts. I was a bit annoyed as they hadnt informed me first before ordering new parts, but i thought if car needs it then its fine. So another week or more and car still not fixed, apparently they keep being sent wrong parts. Ok..its fine!. No one gets back to me in over a week so i decide to call again, this time they have the parts and will put them on but the mot tester wont be back till monday, and this is friday. So i say its ok, i can wait till monday. So on monday once again no one calls me so i take it upon myself to do so, this time im told that when they put parts back on they noticed that 2 pieces of the foot brake was missing, so basically it wouldnt be finished till the new parts now arrived, bear in mind it had allready been mot checked the week before... ok so fast forward another long wait on hyundai sending the specific parts. Which apparently cost Β£300 each! And i need 2. And this is on top of the previous work of over Β£600 for work for mot, which now they discoverd it needs 2additional bits. Annnnnnnd finally after 4 or 5 weeks my car is ready, with a eye watering bill of almost Β£1600 wow. I was just so fed up at this point i just wanted the torture to end, so i paid bill and took car home, after about 2days i noticed a rattling noise coming from front driver wheel, i was sure the garage had done something wrong, however i went to kwik fit for a second opinion, very nice guy in there, tells me somethings defenatley not right and to take it back where they did work. So i did, i was very irate and angry, only to be met with protests of its nothing to do with them if something else breaks on vehicle. One more nicer guy takes it for test drive and agrees its not safe so hed have a look, next day am told this new part will cost about Β£370 at this point i said no thanks... i took car to another garage where i got it repaired for Β£140. And that problem was fixed, now my vehicle is loosing power and im taking it to garage to check it out. I strongley believe A&I autos have ruined my vehicle and charged me a lot of money to do so. Steer clear of this garage thats my advice, if i could go to police about a bad garage i would.

    My son and his partner travelled up from Glasgow for a visit and had problems with their clutch all the way up. We tried several garages in Stonehaven and A & I Motors managed to fit us in at short notice. We got the car back the same day and the charge was very reasonable. Would thoroughly recommend them.     There is almost nothing good that I can say about my experience with A&I Auto. When I booked the work I needed done I asked if they worked on Land Rovers (Discovery 4) and was told, yes. The vehicle had lost the electronic fuel gauge and was showing empty, with the refuelling warning light showing. The vehicle had entered the β€œlimp mode” as the computer was protecting the engine from running completely dry. It took some convincing to get the team to do a diagnostic as they said they knew the issue was the fuel pump (I was assured that the fuel sender unit came with the pump). When the diagnostic was done, it showed that the issue was with the fuel sender unit. The repair work was done and the vehicle returned to me as β€œrepaired”. It didn’t take long for the fuel gauge to start failing again and when I returned the vehicle I found out that the only work that had been done was the replacing of the fuel pump. The front fuel sender unit (there are two) had not come with the pump so they simply used the old (possibly faulty) front sender unit and did no work on the rear sender unit. So the only piece of the puzzle that was functioning, the fuel pump, was replaced and the parts that came up in their own diagnostics as the issue, the fuel sender unit/s, remained untouched. I was happily charged for work that was not needed and the problem was not fixed. With the recurrence of the issue, the vehicle was returned to A&I Autos. I gave as many chances as tolerable to me for A&I Autos to make good and my vehicle remained at their garage for more than a week waiting for the part to be ordered (fuel sender unit) and the work to be done. Their communication is horrendous and through the whole process (more than 2 weeks), I was phoned back once to give me an update. In one of my last calls to the garage, the mechanic informed me that the part was arriving that day and, though he wouldn’t be able to do the work that day, it would be done the next. When, again, I was not phoned to say the work was under way, I called and was told very abruptly that the part was not there and my car was not being worked on. I have collected my vehicle now and will take it to a proper garage for the work to be done and have cancelled further work A&I Auto were scheduled to do on another of my cars. I had not used them before and will definitely not go near them again.

    Once again, excellent service from A&I. Dropped my car off for an MOT and service in the morning, and by lunchtime, it was ready. There were a couple of advisories, but booking in the extra work was quick and easy. Prices are reasonable, the car is always returned clean, and I have no concerns whatsoeverβ€”I highly recommend them!

    The staff were very helpful and kind will definitely use again. They came to me to check if the car was drivable and then followed me to garage. Part was ordered before I got there and finished the job in record time. Definitely 5*service Alison

    First class service again. Brake fluid & spark plug change and an MOT. Very efficient and very reasonably priced. Will continue to use A & I for all my car maintenance and repair work. Highly recommended !.

    I would like to thank A&I Autos. This was my first time with them and I will be back! I ended up making a mistake with another garage and the A&I Team were so accommodating in getting my MOT done very quickly and were so lovely! Would definitely recommend this business and the dogs in the office are lovely!

    Booked in my car for a MOT, however, my exhaust needed a new part which was ordered and fixed really quickly before the MOT began! MOT was then carried out and passed. Great service and I was only charged for the new part not labour! A great experience from start to finish! I would recommend to everyone :)
