As a very nervous patient due to being exposed to some previous poor dental practice at a different dentist, I've never been put more at ease than by Dr Shima. I've had several appointments at White Peak and I would highly recommend them.
Can highly recommend White Peak Dental Practice, had my dentures done by Shima 4 years ago and they are still as good as new. Staff are very friendly and professional.

I had an appointment booked for three weeks. I then tried to call a whole week prior to explain I wouldn’t be in attendance as I couldn’t get the time off of work for the appointment. I rang the line 6 different times to change the appointment and was met with no answer. Therefore they have taken my £90 deposit and refuse to elaborate. Poor customer service and no competence to even answer the phone. I’d rate it 0 stars if I could.
I’ve been at this practice for many years and it just gets better and better. All staff are incredibly helpful and there is a real family feel. I have to travel from Belper for my appointments but would definitely not move to another practice.
Brilliant practice. Staff are always polite and put you at ease. Myself having quite a few problems they reassure me so I do not worry. I cannot recommend the practice highly enough.

I had previously used an NHS dentist in Ashbourne but was disappointed by the very basic service. When I needed to see a hygienist and cosmetic dentistry it was obvious that I needed a more comprehensive practice. I was delighted by the professional expertise of the dentist I saw and had total confidence in her. The practice is clean, bright and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone requiring more than just drill and fill.
I never had a problem with White Peak until about May 2019. They tried to send me for a £50 scan at the hospital, when all I wanted was a simple extraction of a heavily filled sensitive molar. I complained 5 times and now they've booted me out. They still have all my practice plan payments and I have received neither an explanation, an apology, any treatment or an alternative dentist (which I requested in July)......
