   My son refused to have his hair cut until we started coming here. A friend recommended Jake and he was brilliant with my son (who has both autism and ADHD). He rolled with the fact that he would rather stand than sit down and proceeded to cut his hair sitting behind him. The first time we only had half a hair cut but after two years of coming here we've managed to introduce clippers and the same razor and now only takes about 20 minutes! All the staff are very friendly, especially to my son. There's always a sticker or lolly to console my son after the cut is finished.

   Great hairdressers with experienced staff and a lively atmosphere. I've been using Paul Light's hairdressers ever since moving to Romsey in 2012, and have been coming back ever since. I appreciate that hair in general is a personal thing, however what I think is universal is the way in which the staff here listen to their clients and offer their advice and professional opinion based on their experience. If after a week or so things aren't quite 'right' they've always been happy to rework without any hitch, which is great customer service. The pandemic wasn't kind to business in general, and more so than most health and beauty businesses, but throughout the staff have always been cheerful, and played with the cards that had been dealt well. Masks, dividers, shields have moved back to coffee and fragrance testers, but it is testement to the underlying core that the quality and experience didn't suffer when times were 'interesting' Now part of Bradbeer's the ownership may have changed but the quality of the team remains, and Paul is still a real example of someone who is on the top of their game, and has a passion for what he does. We've also had our (little) children's hair cut here and the stylists have always been brill, friendly and understanding. Great

   Update - I bought Oscar in Yesterday for another haircut, and you guys keep getting better and kinder to my 4 year old. He loves coming to see you and really enjoys getting his haircut, such a turnaround from a year ago before he started coming here. I cant recommed PLH highly enough...perfect for your little ones if there a bit unsure or scared, a truly pleasurable experience, yet again...Thank you all for your amazingly brilliant service, your wonderfully kind hightly skilled staff, a true credit to you and your team. I bring my 4 year old Oscar to your Salon for his haircuts, every 6 weeks or so, your staff are so friendly, wonderfully polite, always happy and helpful, despite his (sometimes) less than happy moods. Thoroughly recommended to all as Pauls team provide brilliant haircuts for my boy. Thank you all, we all look forward in coming back to you v soon and bringing you more cookies..
