I can’t recommend The Avance Clinic enough! Carly is so knowledgeable and instantly put me at ease and she genuinely cares about getting the best results for you. I had IPL laser treatment for pigmentation, and after just two sessions, the pigmentation has completely gone! It’s given me so much confidence and honestly taken years off me. If you’re thinking about it, go and see Carly, she’s amazing!
A complete and utter five star service from start to finish, I couldn't recommend more highly. From initial consultation Carly immediately was welcoming and friendly and put all my concerns and worries at ease. She is an absolute expert at what she does and explained everything to me so well. I have struggled with dark very dense hair on my chin neck and upper lips for years. I cannot believe the difference in even only a few sessions. I went from shaving every single day sometimes twice, to every few days after only a handful of sessions. And now after 7 I'd say it's 90% gone and the sparse hairs that remain are so much slower to come back. I'm confident that those last stragglers will be zapped too in no time. Carly has absolutely changed my life, her passion and perfectionism to get the absolute best results for her clients is unmatched. I only wish I'd done this sooner!!
I travel 3 & 1/2 hours to visit Carly at Avance Clinic! I have been going to Carly since February of 2023 and am still visiting her now. Back in 2023, I was very apprehensive and anxious about starting my Laser Hair Removal journey due to a awful experience previously with another clinic, however from the start at my first ever appointment Carly made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole thing. She spoke transparently and in great depth about Laser Hair Removal and about all the essential information and sessions I required to achieve results. At every appointment she is friendly, personable and professional and always makes you feel comfortable. We have a good catch up and a great laugh every time I see her. From starting my journey, I have since moved to Brighton and I now travel 3 & 1/2 hours just to visit Carly at Avance Clinic! I would not go to anyone else, she is an expert in the industry and a lovely person. The difference that I have noticed is incredible and it has changed my life massively. I 100% would recommend visiting Carly at Avance Clinic, you will not find anyone better than her!
After years of struggling with thick dark hairs around my chin, jaw and upper lip which in the end I was using tweezers on every day, I was desperate to find a solution and came across Avance Clinic which offered laser hair removal. From the start Carly made me comfortable, she was friendly, helpful, honest and transparent about how it worked and how many sessions I would need. I was still very skeptical that it would work for me however I was amazed that I noticed such a difference from the very first session. I am now nearing the end of my treatment and can honestly say it's changed my life with the majority of the hair gone. I would highly recommend.
I visited this clinic for the first time back in August after speaking to a member of the team via Instagram. My concern was regarding a patch of discolouration on both my shins (hemosiderin staining) due to an injury I had a couple of years ago. Having done my research and speaking to other clinics, I was told that this could be tackled via laser treatment. The main reason why I hadn’t visited any of the other clinics is solely due to the fact that they’re located over 3 hours away and I really didn’t have the time for the commute. I reached out to Avance because they offered the exact treatment and type of laser I was after. After being told they could look into this for me, I booked an appointment. I turned up 5 minutes early to my appointment and was made to wait an extra 10 minutes over the time I was supposed to be seen. No big deal. Things happen. My consultation with Carly wasn’t pleasant at all. I was basically ridiculed for voicing my concerns and was told “these things won’t matter once you’re married”. What exactly is the point of working in the cosmetic industry then if these things clearly “don’t matter”? I was made to feel like an inconvenience the entire appointment and the whole thing just seemed rushed. I literally felt like I was in the way the entire time. Constantly being reminded how the pigmentation is such a “minor issue”. Highly unprofessional behaviour. My second appointment felt even more rushed than the first one. Again, I turn up a few minutes early and the owner completely ignores me. I’m sat there waiting whilst she is catering to another patient (in the reception area). We’ve gone 10 minutes over at this point until I’m finally acknowledged. I am made to feel like an inconvenience throughout the entire appointment once again. It’s a huge shame because I actually saw a reduction in the pigmented patches after my first appointment. A third appointment had been booked but unlike the first and second appointment, I wasn’t given any SMS reminder for this at all. I later realised that I had missed my appointment. Maybe it was for the best. A reminder would have been nice though. I assume this was probably because no pre-payment was made during my second session (unlike the first two sessions) so maybe the owner was hoping that I wouldn’t return and ‘waste’ her time? 1 star for the fact that the treatment did seem to help and another star for the fact that the lady in reception was lovely.
The clinic has a great modern and up to date look. All the staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and the prices very competitive, as a guy I was a bit in doubt about going, but I'm so glad i went to Avance clinic.I was fully made aware of the procedure, and treatment course length, and was quite amazed at what they offer. So happy with my treatment. Thanks alot Avance clinic.
Carly is really professional, welcoming and friendly. Her prices are very reasonable and she is obviously very passionate about what she does. I've now had 4 sessions and the reduction in hair regrowth has been amazing, hardly anything there now and much finer! Would 100% recommend.
After having my consultation with Carly where she answered all my questions and made me feel at ease whilst I had a patch test, I had my first treatment yesterday. Carly was professional, welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease again whilst she completed the treatment. The treatment didn't take as long as I thought and the pain lasted seconds a lot less then waxing. Can not wait for my next session and to see amazing results.
