   I felt it was important to share a comment about my first dreadlocks experience at this salon. I have had dreads in the past in another country, so I was excited and hopeful, especially because this salon is known as one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I had a 2 pm appointment and arrived on time, but the stylist was still working on another client, and my session did not begin until more than an hour later. For such a long process, clear communication about timing would have been greatly appreciated. The salon itself is quite small and not very comfortable for long appointments. There wasn’t proper seating for hours of work, and there were young children present who were sick and coughing throughout the session. Although I love children, the environment felt crowded, noisy, and not very customer-friendly, especially with limited ventilation. My partner and I unfortunately fell ill the next day. The appointment went on until around 5 am, which was extremely unexpected. As an expert, the stylist could have communicated that this is a possibility. The final result was not what I expected, as the dreadlocks were uneven in length and thickness. Considering the cost of nearly 800 pounds, this was very disappointing. I appreciate the effort that goes into this type of work, and I truly support local businesses. However, my experience was difficult overall. I hope this honest feedback helps improve communication, comfort, and quality for future clients. I trust this will help future clients to be informed of the possible outcomes and the salon itself for improvement.

   Very pleased with the outcome of my cornrows. They were very helpful, friendly, professional and gave me all the information I needed to maintain them.
