Paul made us up a couple of mixed charcuterie, cheese and salad platters that took the pressure off our New Years Eve celebrations with friends. They were a super hit, excellent value and we will definitely be back!

If this was a pub it would be my local. The cheeses are amazing and I always enjoy talking music with the owners.
Paul created a delicious cake of cheese for our wedding that guests absolutely loved. It was perfect and looked spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of choosing the cheeses too - a lovely opportunity to do a tasting!
Love this Deli! We got a really reasonable hamper for my father’s birthday, full of delicious things! The owners are extremely nice too, great to our daughter every time we go in

Paul’s customer service was outstanding and he went over and beyond to make sure I was happy with the outcome. Absolute gem of a shop. We frequent the cookhouse deli for exceptional ingredients for our homemade pizzas and a take away coffee. We are looking forward to ordering our Christmas cheese also!
Can’t speak highly enough of this delightful shop in Wallingford. The produce is a mix of the best of global, mixed with fabulous local artisan. The cheese counter is amazing. But what sets it apart is the wonderfully easy going friendly and knowledgeable staff/owner. He couldn’t have been more helpful and simply a great person to have a foodie chat with. As a Waitrose aficionado I highly recommend The Wallingford Deli as a must shop alternative for slightly more variety, locally sourced food...and superb service. PS. I was buying a content for a hamper and have come out with a stunning spread. One very happy customer.
Really nice place and owner who is very helpful. They also stock bread and a range of Wessex Flour Mill Bread Flour and had cheese to taste on the counter top. Will be using again
