   I popped into Top Nails for the first time for a standard gel manicure yesterday without an appointment and. I was seen within minutes. The technician removed my old gel polish and gave me lovely classy mocha nails with a slight shimmer that I’m really pleased with. Every step of the manicure was carried out with a high level of precision, skill and care. He carefully removed any peeling cuticles and filed my nails. The huge range of colours and finishes is mind blowing. Lovely staff, a. relaxed but professional atmosphere and the other clients having manicures there when I was there spanned the full age range. The price was over half what I’ve been paying for years at another local salon, where I can struggle to get an appointment especially during December. I left Top Nails with a loyalty card and a free little tube of hand and body lotion as a Christmas present, which was a lovely touch. I will be going back to Top Nails for manicures and pedicures now and probably often, that’s for sure.

   Avoid like the plague. I asked for some acrylic which I have had done multiple times over the years at various nail shops. However in this case, my natural nails were filed so violently with the drill, to the point where they were hurting and I had to pull away multiple times. As someone who has had their nails done many times, this should in no way be painful. My natural nails under the acrylic feel incredibly sore and damaged. The staff were rude and then proceeded to charge me £49 after the worst service of my life. Will not be returning and am only giving it one star so I can write this review.

   Go here often and am never disappointed! I have tried other salons around the area as I’ve only lived here a short while but Tops is my favourite. The staff are friendly and talented and I got exactly what I asked for. Overall very happy!

   Updating my review just because I can! I have been using top nails for years now and I won’t go to any other shop! No nail design is too hard for them! All the staff are lovely my first pic is from over 2 years ago and the second is 2 days couldn’t recommend enough

   Best nail shop! So clean and friendly, always so relaxing and have never been hurt, even today when they fixed an awful job another salon did (not sure why I went somewhere else) Always have lovely refreshments too.

   Just had my nails done at the new Top Nails and couldn't be happier. The owners are utterly lovely and so welcoming. Hen removed and re applied a new set of acrylics and then Quin applied a gel French manicure. I visited as they have an opening offer of 30% discount until mid July. I will definitely go again as they look beautiful and are nice and thin as requested. Thank you both and apologies if I haven't spelt your names correctly! Nikki.
