I broke a tooth in April and got seen by hygienist who gave me a temporary filling was told would last a year. I got seen bout a mouth guard my dentist and also said had to get my filling filled so wasted money on a temporary filling. I really wish I kept it as now in pain. I have problems with my jaw as it is and she pushed so hard now my jaw is sore to touch, where my filling is my gum is red and noticed there is a small crack but apparently thatβs my fault. Definitely thinking of changing dentist as I had anxiety about dentist but now after that appointment it has gotten worse. I even got charged for an emergency appointment as my tooth was so sore. I even got charged for that appointment even though it was the hygienist fault she cracked my tooth.

Booked an appointment 3 months in advance for 2 of my children took 2 hours unpaid leave to attend appointment. Turned up at 0830 for appointment but was told dentist was ill no alternative plan in place 1 of my sons had tooth ache no appointment offered. If it had been me cancelling within 5 mins of appointment I would have been forced to pay fine. I explained I lost 2 hours wage at Β£22 per hours and cost of fuel totally unacceptable especially in todays cost of living crisis. Nobody in their right mind thinks itβs acceptable for me to be down Β£50 nothing offered not even the next available appointment. Luckily I called my dentist advance dental who was able to see him within the hour tooth ache sorted free of charge thanks again advance. I recommend everyone to leave Northfield dental and sign up to advance crown street Aberdeen. Iβm totally disgusted with Northfield practice 1 not having a contingency plan and 2 not squaring up money lost not even to be offered the next appointment when dentist was back. I find it hard to believe the dentist called in sick 5 mins before opening. My advice to all leave this practice poorly run and donβt honer agreements. Absolutely shocking firstly had to wait 3 months for an appointment 2nd let down at appointment son left in pain and 3rdly do not reimburse money lost

Had an appointment for 01/08 but it was cancelled due to the Dentist being unavailable so they wanted to rescheduled my appointment for 2 months later,as it wasn't me that cancelled I find it ridiculous that I have to wait so long for my appointment, will find another, more reliable practice.

Great service, friendly on arrival until leaving from all the team. The dentist Alison Ross was great, knew exactly what needed doing and identified dental treatment that was required thatβs hadnβt been mentioned before. Provided a detailed examination and explanation of when and how the treatment would be carried out. Gave a breakdown of costs and gave me confidence that care will be provided professional and to a high standard. Looking forward to going back and getting all the required repairs and treatment carried out Thanks

I attended the practice due to having some on going problems. This was the first time I had seen Alison Ross and I was not disappointed. Even though I am a ex dental nurse Alison still put me at ease and explained everything in detail what my best options were. I came away with the knowledge of the plan for what Alison has suggested. As always Jenna was the perfect receptionist made sure everyone was attended to promptly on arrival and kept me up to date with how long I would be waiting due to the procedure the dentist had before my appointment time. Due to the fact that my original dentist leaving the practice my intentions were to find another practice for myself and my children but I have decided due to the staffs care and attention I will be staying. 10 out of 10!

I havent had good experiences with dentists, up until now, then I went to nf practice and WOW!!! The staff are really welcoming and friendly, and make sure you're at ease, and safe with covid restrictions. When I got my tooth out I didnt feel a thing, and with no pain, and was told exactly what the dentist was doing, and again felt at ease. Great staff, great place. Thank you

Basically didn't seem to care about my teeth at all and made every excuse possible as to why I could not have all but one treatment on NHS. All others were avaialble privately at extortionate cost. Was told i'd be contacted for the appointment.. TWO weeks on I haven't heard a thing. Been waitng since March 2020...
