   Nice park, but extremely busy at peak times, could be intimidating for some children. Cafe and ice cream van there most of the time. Car park now looks as though it's pay and display since the new leisure centre has opened though. It is exactly a mile round the perimeter path which is useful to know if you are in training for anything.

   Great place to go with children with a newly updated play area for the bigger children. There is currently no loo access at Palmer Park Leisure centre but if you buy something from Tutu's cafe you can use their toilets when they are open Wednesday to Sunday.

   I dont go here very often but my kids seem to love it , loads of variation , they also now have a little Ethiopian cafe which sells samosas, we occasionally go up here and grab tea and cakes and watch the little ones play
