I have been a regular customer of Jasmine Nails for three years and cannot fault the service or the quality of work provided by David and his team. The salon environment is always welcoming, friendly and clean. I would also like to take this opportunity to address the one-star review left a week ago. I was in the salon at the time this customer visited and feel that the details shared in that review do not accurately reflect what occurred. The customer did have a confirmed appointment with Alice. However, due to an earlier situation outside of the her control, Alice’s schedule had overrun and after four hours of continuous work, she had not been able to take a break. David, who prioritises the wellbeing of his staff, made the responsible decision to ensure Alice could eat and rest before continuing. He explained the situation to the customer and offered a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, the customer responded by raising her voice for an extended period, which caused additional disruption and delay. Regarding payment, the salon is not “cash only.” On that particular day, the PDQ machine had temporarily stopped working. David offered alternative payment options including using the nearby cashpoint or completing a bank transfer. The customer refused to go to the cashpoint and was unable to access her banking app due to poor mobile signal (something I’ve personally never experienced there). David kindly provided the Wi-Fi details and even assisted her in connecting when she had difficulty entering the password correctly. From the moment this lady entered the salon, she was disruptive and showed no regard for the other customers or staff present. I personally found her behaviour unpleasant and felt it impacted the otherwise calm and friendly atmosphere. I wanted to address her directly at the time but my technician asked me not to as she was worried it may escalatethe situation. During her visit, the customer announced that she was an employee of a NHS hospital. I found this surprising, as her behaviour did not reflect the patience and understanding expected from someone in a caring profession. Knowing she works in an environment that requests patience from patients and has a zero-tolerance policy for poor behaviour towards staff, I would have expected her to recognise that unexpected situations sometimes arise and to communicate more respectfully. Throughout the entire situation, David handled things calmly, professionally and with patience. It’s a shame this isolated incident led to such an unfair review as Jasmine Nails has consistently provided excellent service to my knowledge. Keep up the fantastic work David, Alice, Sam, Kevin & Kelly - I look forward to seeing you all in 2 weeks!

Dreadful Service, nice nails. I had booked a gel manicure. This Nail Salon takes bookings according to their booking system. Turned up on time for my appointment (I was attending in my lunch break and had limited time), which I had had confirmation of by email, to discover Alice (who I had booked with) was on her lunch and not available and no one else was for 15 minutes. Another staff member offered to do my nails, which I accepted and said they could do them. Whilst they apologised for the problem, they did not account for the fact their booking system does not work. The person who did my nails made a good job of applying the gel, but because of the delayed appointment I had to forfeit the manicure. So I didn't get for what I booked and with the person I booked with. When I came to pay I also discovered that it was cash only nail bar, I hadn't brought any with me, so they accepted a bank transfer from my phone. A bit fiddly to set up (as wifi signal was non existant). The quality of their work is good (based on my 1 visit). The service was poor if you want to book a specific appointment, with a specific person. So avoid at all costs. If you don't mind walking in to the nail bar and sitting in a que then this place will work for you. Remember to bring cash!

This was the best salon i've ever been to and the first time I had been. Great attention to detail, speedy service and a drink whilst I was there on a hot day. My acrylics were broken due to renovations - they got me in same day and the nail artist is SO GOOD! Will definitely be back.

This is the friendliest nail salon I have been to. The Vietnamese staff are really approachable and helpful. If you want any style you can ask, they double check your nails, and a lovely ambience.
