   Placed a 5k order to go direct to site, delivery had to be redirected due to service strike and Health and safety site issues. When I called around to get help I was faced with comment such as " we don't want it" it wasn't easy to get a answer, I did say to them that I would arrange for this delivery to be collected if they could just take it in for now. When the dust had settled after a few days, I made simple enquiry to see what the cost would be get them to drop the to site (17.5 miles away and 30m drive) to which they replied "we didn't want them in the first place" "we only took them because Chandlers Ford didn't want them" "if the customer wants us to do it now, it will cost them £300". The direct supplier did not hit us with a redirection charge! Graf U@K Let's remember people, you are working in the service industries and customer service is key... some people within the organisation would do well to remember that.

   A mixed bag of being overpriced and a great service, the place is clean and well staffed but the prices could be better. I'm a tradesperson who drives a transit van and wears company branded work uniform. I visited on the 15th Jan 2025 for a basic 25kg bag of sand, I was in a rush so I didn't argue about pricing, I'm not keen on arguing and don't relish any confrontation. Here are a few price checks facts, all inc vat: Elliotts £5.11 Wickes £3.70 B&Q £3.68 Builders Megastore £2.50 Mitcham Builders £2.50 That's a 40% increase on B&Q which are everywhere, and just over double the lowest priced.

   I was dreading taking some materials back for returns as I know what builders merchants can be like, but these guys really supprised me. The office staff and the yard lads were all friendly and made the experience pleasant. So 5Stars for Elliot’s Bishops Waltham!!! :)

   Always competitive with their pricing, lately they have been consistently cheaper for various materials including timber and insulation throughout my recent project, Good access to branch in Bishops Waltham rather than battling the traffic in town and Steve Thomas and counter staff always very helpful. Will continue to use you guys.

   Elliots sent out the wrong color of tiles to us, due to the tiles are muti color, we noticed the problem until 2/3 of the tiles are on the roof, and start laying them out. they mislead us to believe they would give us discount for our next order to compensate the expense of bring those tiles down. when we make the next order, they quoted us the same tiles price as romsey elliots and saying they have compensated us, and there is noting else they can do.. whole bunch of lier!!

   Supplied me with incorrect roofing tiles but assured me they had the correct ones in stock and if I took them back they would change them. When I got there they didn't have the correct ones but their roof tile 'specialist' tried to convince me that another colour would look the same. Went to Rinus roofing and got right ones off the shelf.

   Russian roulette with pricing all depends if your face fits . Just paid nearly £80 for a board that I now find costs £40 at B&Q . It’s all very well shopping local but at least at hedge end the price is the price , it’s worth the £1 it costs in fuel to buy somewhere with fair across the board pricing .

   Did the small job at home deliveries turned up very quickly no problem for the drivers to drop off up a tricky drive ordered too many bricks no problem to take them back and get a refund all in all happy.
