Have used HGS a few times for my own garden diy projects. Easy to order and a prompt and friendly delivery service. As well as building materials the compost was of good quality.

I asked for the stones to be on my drive at the back and the delivery driver was rude and just said he could not with the crane also he did not have a trolley. I ordered to be at the back of my drive but have to end up having the stones on my front lawn damaging my front garden which I need will need to fix, it is a mess!
Ordering is easy, delivery is punctual and driver is helpful.Very good price for top soil and slightly less than average for turf. Top soil is of very good quality, and is absolute must when laying new turf. This is my first time laying turf so won’t comment on quality as don’t have previous experience to compare with. After laying it developed few weak patches but I’m hoping this is transitional and will grow new grass once roots become strong in new soil. If that happens, this review shall be upgraded to 5*. Highly recommended local company for your gardening and landscaping projects.

Great product. Most importantly, the driver was really helpful. He took a lot of time getting the delivery as close to the garden as possible, which saved me a lot of work with the barrow. Highly recommended!

I needed 3 big bags of gravel in a hurry. This company suggested I visit them to see what they had. They had exactly what I needed, at a fraction of the cost I'd been quoted by another supplier, and were able to deliver that afternoon. Cannot recommend highly enough.
