   Went into Bitterne today to collect a dewalt tool box. Was served by a young lady and waited whilst a gentleman brought the box to me. After a polite conversation with the pair, as I was walking away I overheard the young lady say “Did we really need that story” implicating that what I had said was unnecessary and boring! Absolutely disgusted by this remark! I think she could learn a lot from training about customer service and professionalism! So disappointed that a place I use regularly can change with one member of staff impacting a normally friendly and professional workplace!

   Located on the Bitterne side of the Northam Bridge in a small industrial estate, it’s easy to find with adequate parking. Easy access too for the disabled with parking. Clean, tidy and with plenty of stock. Similar to the Argos way of getting what you need. From a catalogue standpoint its vast warehouse has much to offer. Staff were helpful and on a Sunday there was no shortage and no waiting. Mostly for the tradespeople but also the general public. Would recommend for the variety of choice.

   I needed an item but there were a few different products to choose from. They were really helpful and got me what I needed and took the time to check it's was the right item. You can also click and collect which I did a week later for something else and this was really easy to do. Staff in both stores were really helpful

   Quick and convenient pick up point for a variety of DIY materials, and tools! Most items in stock at this location. Comprehensive selection of items to compare and browse on the Screwfix website in the comfort of my own home. Order online, cycle to store, voila... items ready for pickup! My goto DIY store :) Now, the only challenge left is the DIY itself... I am still quite bad at it! :P

   Not great. Member of staff who dealt with me had no idea what a masonry drill bit was, gave me a wood bit then a metal bit. Can forgive someone new/in training but for a place like this that is a very basic bit of knowledge I’d expect of staff. Then I’ve been getting a catalogue posted to me to regularly - I did not ask for this, neither was I asked if I wanted to receive it (which I’m sure is a requirement regarding marketing emails etc) and I now have to either call or write in to unsubscribe. Probably stick to B&Q in the future.

   In Stock!! Not for 1st time I’ve ordered on line & states ‘in stock’ yet once committed paid & text arrives it states ‘in distribution’. Two days later, still waiting!! Screwfix state a new app is more informative- I say, If your forced to load an app that’s one thing but if you can provide by app,then so should the data be on all methods. Not an issue I’ve experienced from Toolstation. Going forward, Toolstation first for my needs. Let’s hope someone from their HO reviews.

   Staff very helpful, counter service only but that doesn't matter as you would normally look on the website first. Online orders collected at the counter too. Surprising stock at generally good prices. I went in for filler and came out with a bargain garden hose which was display and on offer.
