We had the most magical day at Finkley Down Farm today! From start to finish, it was pure Christmas joy. Father Christmas and his team were absolutely amazing – warm, welcoming, and full of festive spirit. My daughter was completely enchanted, and her smile said it all. The Ice Biscuits activity was such a fun touch, letting the children get creative while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Walking through Santa’s World felt like stepping straight into a Christmas storybook – twinkling lights, magical scenes, and so much attention to detail. Making reindeer food was another highlight. My daughter loved preparing her special mix to sprinkle on Christmas Eve, adding to the excitement and tradition. Honestly, this was the best Christmas experience ever. Everything was beautifully organized, family-friendly, and filled with festive magic. We’ll definitely be back – it’s a must-do for anyone wanting to capture the true spirit of Christmas.

Amazing place. Good mix of animals, all-ages soft play areas and nice food. Best plan regardless of the weather

One of the best value days out in the county. There's so much to play on, indoors and out. It's perfect for 1-8 year olds especially.

Great experience here! First arrived thinking there wouldn’t be much there but wow what a surprise. Lots to do and see. We liked the goat racing! We also spoke to a very lovely member of staff who was holding a tiny falcon on Saturday. He was full of enthusiasm and knowledge for the birds and really loved looking after the animals there. Fascinating to know how fast the birds of prey have flown. The kids of course loved the soft play and adventure park!

Really enjoyed our trip to Finkley today. Easy to book online. Clean toilets, great ice cream. Would recommend checking out timings of activities so you don’t miss out! Saw a hawk and owl fly, the goats and sheep race, feed the goats and alpacas, pet the ponies and donkeys. Animals all seem very well looked after. Great big bouncy pillows to jump on, cool zip wire, go carts and between 1pm and 2pm these an opportunity to drive the mini land rovers and get a certificate. Ice cream was tasty and the face painter was fabulous.

Came out to Finkley Down Farm for the first time with 2 children and several adults. It was a lovely time right from the beginning. Lots of outdoor activities for the children to do, loads of animals for adults and children to see, feed and pet. The goat and sheep racing was amazing. The children really enjoyed the indoor play, especially the drop slide. The food was reasonably priced and tasted amazing. I would say a fantastic day out. We were there from 10.30 till 5.10 before taking 2 exhausted children home Loved the Meerkats too

Nice family day out, animals looked well looked after and happy. Plenty of play areas for the kids and lots of other entertainment when we went during summer holidays. Drinks and refreshments are a bit pricey and the gift shop made Peppa pig world seem cheap.

Finkley Down farm is an absolutely fantastic way to spend a day. The staff are very helpful and friendly. So many animals to see and interact with. Very informative talks and presentations. Food in the cafe was very reasonably priced and delicious, allergies are well catered for. Soft play area for kids to play. Amazing playback area with musical instrument toys for children. Great place. Will definitely come again when visiting next time.

First visit to Finkley Down Farm, and we absolutely loved it, the place was clean, well managed, very reasonably priced. There was so much to do, so much available, and managed to do so much whilst there. The food was good and fresh and the soft play was lovely, so much variety. I have two children, with very different age needs/wants and they were both thoroughly entertained. It was also educational as we had a lovely chat to a gentlemen about one of the resident owls, which we were lucky enough to meet. Do not have a bad word to say about it. We will definitely be returning.
