I had an excellent time in the soft play today and met our new best friend who we turned into a 'wax' figure he also put our favourite show on the TV for us! I got lost in the backrooms and was haunted by a guy who died In the slide many years ago. Legend has it hes alive on the other side of the coroline tunnel.
I just had my sons 7th birthday party at whoosh this evening. We had an exclusive party from 4pm till 6pm. I didn't have to lift a finger. The two ladies that worked at whoosh was absolutely brilliant. My son really enjoyed his party and so did his friends. On arrival of each child the ladies asked what they wanted for food to ensure there was no waste or no children was disappointed with what they got. They even cut my cake for me and put it in the party bags. I would highly recommend whoosh for a birthday party. The best place I have booked so far!!! The soft play is big, plenty of room for the children to run around. We had no problem finding it as there is a map on the website. And the seating area is also good. I didn't catch the two ladies name that worked there but I would like to treat them to 2 gift cards each for their hard work, nothing was no problem for them. I will contact whoosh to do this. Kids had a great time at Whoosh while I enjoyed a lovely coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wasn't impressed by the cleanliness and waited nearly 5 minutes while staff saw me waiting to enter... its fine the baby and carseat are as light as a feather!But then never even got in as you need to pay cash. Oh and buggies stay outside. Walked away Never again Update/reply to owners comment -Buggies outside is fine - state it in the website -I waited 5 minutes while clearly visible -Visible to staff and therefore able to see the soft play space as its a small gate to enter -I said I was happy to pay by card and tried to look at the food to buy on the other side (wasn't in the soft play space just entrance), none of which we could have due to allergies and I told the staff member and asked what else can we do ...nothing ... so we left. Also quite surprised by the tone in your reply. Its feedback to take on board if you so wish, or don't, but the feedback is my own and an account about my experience its just useful for information on how to improve if you care what customers (potential customers) think. Visited Whoosh this morning at 10am, I am not being dramatic when I say it was almost as cold in there as outside and it is -2 today! Our feet hurt from how cold the floor was. I asked the girl at the till if the radiators worked and she said she would ask and then put them on - I saw her ask a guy out the back who shook his head. Very disappointed as you would expect a place like this to have heating that works especially now when it is so cold. Also, we ordered a few bits from the menu and the sausage sandwich was full of grizzle and the ‘scrambled egg’ was like a pat of egg not very appealing. We will not be returning or recommending to anyone.
This is so much better for children then any of the hyped parks. The staff are outstanding and the play facilities are fantastic. Well worth the visit. Entrance was cheap for what you get and I liked the alloted times for indoor play.
I returned today for the first time since lockdown and after being quite reluctant to go, not knowing what to expect due to the new rules and restrictions, both my son and I were very happy with our visit. The cleanliness of the place was very good and well maintained throughout the session. The changes that have been made to keep everyone safe are very subtle but very effective. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff are just amazing! Friendly, professional and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate their customers. My son is over the moon to be able to get back to his weekly visit to his favorite place. Well done Whoosh!! ❤️
Had exclusive hire for a party of 30 for a 6yr. Brilliant experience. The kids had a choice of food beforehand and on the day the staff worked tirelessly hard to keep both the children and parents serviced with food and drinks. They even cut up the cake for us, it's little touches like that, that makes them stand out from the others. Pricewise it was a winner too, cheaper than the ones around East Reading. Very secure during party time. Kids loved it, we added the disco to the package too. Takes place after the food, kids liked the glow sticks but then vanished off into the soft play not long after, not even a disco could compete with the draw of more soft play time. Very highly recommend.
