   An absolute sham of a company. Placed an order to hire a turf cutter from them via B&Q's website. It turned up with no fuel when it should have had some. After complaining about this, we had to go and buy some. Then, without knowing, they arranged to bring some to us but it turned up at 4.30pm - far too late in the day. Worse still, it was arranged to be collected on the Monday (weekend hire) and they didn't turn up, rang B&Q who were totally useless, tried calling Speedy-Slow Southampton branch and no one answers the phone. We had to keep lugging it into the garage and lugging it out again each morning. We will NEVER hire anything from Speedy-Slow Hire again. PS The only decent person we dealt with was Ian, who delivered and collected it - he is the only credit to your company.

The equipment was exactly what we needed, and having it provided so kindly took a huge weight off our shoulders. Delivery and collection were both superb, and your colleague who brought everything on site was friendly, professional, and truly amazing — making the whole process so much easier for us.    Appalling service - sent the wrong thing out twice - driver didn't check and warehouse staff were rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't compensate on an entire day of wasted contractor time. Refused to refund for over 3 weeks and required huge amount of time to chase. AVOID!
