Hardstuff are a great company to deal with, I have been using them for slate hearths for a while now and have had great service. In my nine years of trading I have used a few companies and they are the only company that I have used that offer crates of matched pairs which saves a lot of time. I did have an issue with a delivery date not being met on one occasion; I emailed Hardstuff at the end of the working day and by 7.30pm Simon had contacted the delivery company and assured me of delivery for the following morning - for me the measure of a good business is how they deal with things when they go wrong and they went above and beyond to rectify the delivery delay - I felt really valued as a customer. As a Stove installer, I use this material a lot as a base for the stove to stand on. This company is very accommodating and has helped me out on more than one occasion, going the extra mile to help meet my requirements.
