Bought something for 5 pounds, I spent a tenner and got a fiver for change, HOWEVER the fiver had a rip on it and it couldn't be used. I went back and asked to change it for another fiver but they said they didn't have another. They didn't even give me 5 pounds in coins. I believe they purposely gave me that ripped fiver just to get rid of it. Such a scam.

Im 23 and felt like i was 17 again. Shopped at the West Totton store for years, went into the Calmore branch yesterday. Walked in with a friend and within 5 seconds a shop worker was staring at me with a straight face. 20 seconds later im choosing my drink to 'BUY' and while still staring at me tells me to take my hood off. I then initially challenged it saying no as i then felt like i was made out to be a thief or someone to cause trouble in the shop. My head was cold and was not even fully on my head, id come in to spend money! Also that i work in retail very similar and we dont even think of asking people to remove things in a discriminate manor, you use correct utensils and keep eyes on people you have suspicions of. I also understand that others with the 'WHOLE FACE' covered are OK to roam around the store due to religious reasons?! He then proceeded to follow me round the store demanding me to take it off and that if i didn't i 'wasn't going to get served'. Which then i felt belittled and had to otherwise i have to walk to another shop to get just a drink. That customer service i found was disgusting, he also went on to say 'feel free to shop somewhere else if you dont like it'. The idea of facial covering is out the question if people can walk in with burkas covering their 'WHOLE FACE'. Im a local in the area, always shop at West Totton Tesco express and they are 10/10 in there. Never EVER had a issue, nor anyone else i know. Half the staff in Calmore Tesco have no idea what customer service is, let alone even look at you when serving! Helmets i can understand, balaclava i can understand but please think in you head realistically... a balaclava is the exact same as a burka, but in a bigger form. Doesn't matter about religious reasons, they have their whole face covered! Ill do as much as i can to make sure i walk out with my hood still up next time. I've never complained in my life but 24 hours after walking out i still feel belittled!

Been shopping there for 6 years, today I'm greeted by a sign on the door specifically targeting Bikers to remove their helmets.
Checked the policy and it stated facial coverings will be asked politely and respectfully to be removed except for religious and cultural reasons.
I'm not asked politely to remove my helmet I get a sign right in face before I walk in just targeting Bikers but nothing to say I can't wear a mask or balaclava!
Went to morrisons instead and asked if they have the same discriminating rule, nope, so they got my custom.
