Waiting to get some Food before work @ 6:40am and no one insight, ended up making myself late for work as it says they are open. Co Elon guys if it states you guys are open at least have someone at the counter don’t just say something and don’t mean it it is literally written in big bold letters on your window
Horrible unfriendly staff, the girl who served me at the till looked straight faced and didn't say one word not even how much my shopping was no thank you no nothing when serving you at the till, she is obviously in the wrong job. Shop is nice but iv always noticed how unfriendly and unapproachable the staff look.
Very convenient to drop by and buy whatever. The place is extremely lively for how small it is, and the rewards card is very helpful. Unfortunately, some things in here are a bit pricier than other places, but that's not a deal breaker since it's not to every item.
As a high level 8 reviewer for 8 years, I see many suspicious comments and reviews on this platform. Some from reviewers who only provide one review. Clearly they are not legitimate sources of information. Some with confrontational issues too. So, my take on this store is that it is there for YOUR convenience. It’s open every day early and late at supermarket prices. It’s packed full of everyday items that most people would like. I have never had any problems with getting in. The security guard is there to prevent theft. They are at liberty to refuse entry for a legitimate reason. If you are refusing to cooperate then go elsewhere. There are many other shops in the city. If you try to go in with an aptitude and start getting confrontational then expect to be refused. Perhaps if there was less of this then the staff wouldn’t be behind Post Office style barriers. For me, it’s a good store and the staff are trying to do their jobs. NEVER had an issue here.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to today. On 26th February 2025, around 3:30 PM, I visited the store and had a disappointing experience with a staff member in the meal deal section. A white European lady, who was stacking the shelves, was extremely unprofessional in the way she spoke to me. It was as if she saw me already but was waiting for me to say something to her. The fridge section has a sliding door mechanism, meaning when one side is open, the other side remains closed. I was waiting patiently for two gentlemen to finish so that I could open my side without closing theirs. Instead of assisting me or acknowledging that I was waiting, she suddenly said, “All you have to do is say excuse me, and I will move it” in a loud and abrupt tone, almost as if she wanted the entire store to hear it. Her volume and attitude made the situation feel unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional—almost as if she was having a bad day or hadn’t had enough sleep. I understand that working in retail can be stressful, but there’s no excuse for speaking to customers that way. It made the whole experience unpleasant, and frankly, I expected better service. I usually enjoy shopping here, but this interaction left a bad impression. Hopefully, the management can address this to ensure better customer service in the future.
This place is shocking come here regular for the meal deals and never got in or on shelf I what I want and as I work early and have break early , only ever get chance to pop in once , will be going elsewhere in future
Very neat store well stocked
Regularly shop here week days, getting my lunch for work. I rely heavily on the shop being open early hours (between 6-6:30am) as I work outside of town where there are little shops and none of which open this early. However this week the store has been closed 3 times due to store delivery?! 3 delivery’s in a week all a day apart? I doubt it. And if so, where’s the cheese and onion sandwich’s at? haha. That’s fine. Me and other early shift individuals will just go hungry.
Wasn't open today at 6am :/ shame cos it's the only place open early on a Sunday , n I was there at like 6:20 too , apart from that great the rest of the time tho
The security guard on Saturday the 5th is still throwing himself physically in front of customers entering the shop if the light is red. He threw himself in between myself and my partner during the pandemic for the same reason but he obviously can’t let his little bit of power go. It’s very abrupt and un-nerving when he does this.
