Rude staff, sitting on phone at counter not willing to serve. Poor service. Avoid!

Always very nice staff whenever I need the counter for mobile phone top up or I only have cash. The self-service machines work very well and as it's such a large location you have a lot of variety there.

I have just been in to purchase some bits and pieces as I normally do . There are two members of staff who regularly make smart comments at me and are generally rude to me every time I go in ! I am a very quiet person who keeps himself to himself . I use this shop because I live and work in the area but I am finding it increasingly hard to face walking through the door . I also saw one of members of staff being rude to an old lady struggling to use the self service till , she was upset too .

Great little store which is open till 10PM on all days. Good for buying groceries, vegetables and ready to eat food. Some times the vegetables are out of stock. They do have self checkout counters. Parking is a little difficult around this place and might have to go a little far for it. This supermarket also has bakery food items, other small household items etc. I always find that the food products are of good quality at here.

By far the worst Coop I've been in, and I should know I used to work in one! Ordering seems to be constantly wrong as they always run out of meal deal components (usually the crisps), but also have far too many sandwiches which always end up reduced to go. Facing up seems to haphazardly done, especially for items on the top shelves (too much like hard work?) Very short staffed, which means even with 3 self service machines there is always very long ques. My whole office knows not to come in any later than 20 minutes before work/end of lunch as you will be late!

Lovely staff that sometimes have to deal with rude mean people. However, the store has some issues with their supply. Shelves are empty :( and everything is quite dirty. I also think that the images on the front of the store are just unpleasant.. maybe it’s time to change? I can send you a few nice images to use for free if you want!

Staff are incredibly polite and welcoming and will always try to help you out. Provides eBay deliveries and a good selection of food. Lived in the area for a year and a half and now miss the quality of service. Being in the city centre it can become busy at times but the majority of staff purposely smile and ask how you are doing making the store feel like a local corner shop and not a generic high street stop.

Work down the road so visit 5 times a week, the morning staff are all so lovely and work so hard! they are always running around but never complaining and always help customers in need. great selection of to-go lunch available! would be great to get self serve tills though as sometimes the ques can be quite long. Please never get ride of myhermes collection it is so useful! :)
