Very efficient; not a client before but the work required wasn't something many people could do - quickly came back to me and was sorted within a couple of days - very impressed.
Had to follow up twice after being ignored and then had to go in person to find out what was going on. Was told they would contact me again by email and got ignored or forgotten about again. Three weeks wasted, and all I needed was a signature. Won't be wasting my time here again.
Needed a simple deeds adjustment carried out. Reception and follow up phone contact was professional and polite. The whole process all completed on the following day. Very satisfied and will use these in the future if I need legal services. Very professional but personal touch too. Note, I had tried another firm in Corby and they had not even followed up properly from the phone query, rang 3 times over about a week! They still haven't responded yet to see what was needed.
Don't bother contacting this company. The Notary is always on the phone, someone else promises they will call back and they never do! Have chased 6 times in the past 10 days and have now given up and gone elsewhere!

I would and have already recommended Lamb & Holmes Solicitors. They did an excellent job in a pretty difficult if not hostile chain. Lamb & Holmes were very professional and dealt with everything dilligently and I would use them again, but hopefully not for another 20 years!!
Undertook conveyancing with them. I had a shocking experience with Mike Riddle. He clearly makes it up as he goes along. I had the pleasure of a phone call with him to discuss an additional cost on my bill of fees that should have been covered in the original quote. (This was later confirmed and agreed by a senior partner) Mike Riddle informed me that it's up to him what the fees are and costs are and he doesn't have to justify it to anyone. Three words describe Mr Riddle; - Rude - Unprofessional - Obnoxious I have never dealt with such an ignorant individual from any law firm. Other reviews about Mr Riddle are completely correct. Disappointing from a once respected law firm by many. A shame.
My family have used Lamb & Holmes for many years, as far back to my fathers time (I'm 70 years old), we have seen many names come and go, currently dealing with Debbie King who is a treasure, and have had excellent expert service and advice from them.
