I commissioned Alex to reupholster a leather, high back, wing, punched back, arm chair. I found Alex to be a delightful young man, knowledgeable , polite and an expert in what he does. Alex has been wonderful to work with, from start to finish. Collections and drop offs were always punctual and professional. With Alex’s guidance, we have subtly updated the style of our sofas, at a fraction of the cost of replacing them. The end results are fantastic. I approached Alex with a cushion commission which would involve working with a specially made embroidered fascia design that I had been given and which needed some care in the way it would be incorporated into the rest of the cushion case. On picking up the finished cushion, it completely surpassed anything I might have imagined. Alex has produced an amazingly professional and seamless piece of work, which has been fully executed with a keen eye for detail. Everything I had asked for during our initial meeting had been taken care of exquisitely. It really is beautiful and a testament to his outstanding level of skill as an upholsterer. The embroidery was done by my Mother so it’s something that means a lot to me and Alex’s skills and care has brought the whole piece to life. Thank you again, I’m very happy with it.
There's all kind off upholsterers available, but if you want to have the best, pick Alex. He did our Scandinavian style sofa and chairs and we are very pleased with the finish. Can't thank him enough. Highly recommend.
Alex recovered and refurbished a very special chair that has been in our family for a long time. We modernised it with updated colours and fabrics and it fits perfectly into our interior decor. It looks amazing and we love it!
