We use this Branch of Sainsbury's in Ashbourne whenever we are in the area enjoying the Outdoors and Great Landscape. Although we always manage to get what we went in for ( Usually a meal deal ), We find many of the Customers who use the place ( And more than a few members of staff, Especially the Till Operators ), Somewhat Ignorant and Rude compared to our own Local Sainsbury's in Stafford. They often have little or no interest in basic Customer Service. No friendly smiles or general chat, Instead we've always been served by staff who seem like they don't want to be there and lack simple common courtesy. Walking up and down the Aisles, There seems to be quite a few Miserable Looking People Shopping aswell. This Always surprises us as we're not used to seeing so many Grumpy Looking People in one place at the same time, And also with this Sainsbury's Branch being located in some of the most wonderful and naturally amazing landscape in Britain, I'm always amazed at how Unhappy people seem. We will always use this place whenever we visit the Peak District and surrounding areas but would like to actually come across 1 or 2 Smiles when we shop. Overall, A smaller Sainsbury's Branch that offers most things any larger supermarket does. Parking is Definitely Not the easiest, With the Entrance road being very narrow with sharp turns and the actual Carpark just as Tight and not the easiest to drive round. I feel for the Older drivers as Turning, Parking in the Bays and Reversing can be Tricky if you're not Confident. I'd give the Stock a 7/10 & the Staff/Atmosphere perhaps 5/10. Cheers!!

Nice medium sized sainsburys store. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. They stock all the usual items and run lots of discounts and offers. The free car park is very good and perfect when you need to shop in the supermarket and pop to another store in town. Also parked here in our campervan without any issues.

Not the biggest, but if youβre using Ashbourne as a start to head north on the Tissington trail and on to the Dales and River Dove etc, this will have everything you need to some extent. You wonβt have a huge range of choice of products like larger stores, but you will be able to find something that gives you what you need It does have toilets, and they are well maintained and clean The store closes at 8pm if youβre getting back late, and the bus station is 90 seconds walk away

Useful supermarket with some reasonable offers and checkout operators willing and friendly. 2 hours free parking which seems to be the norm these days.

All the staff we spoke to, without exception, were friendly, polite and helpful. Standard Sainsbury's with the usual range of items for a large store. Ample parking space in the car park with good spacing between the parking bays. No petrol filling station here.

The only proper supermarket in Ashbourne. The Co-ops are good, but they're very pricey in comparison. The staff at Sainsbury's are polite and friendly. The store is pretty well stocked for a small branch. The shop had a refit last year and is laid out very well.

Sainsbury is always try to be best and the best experience I had with one of the staff member at the self checkout. This lady is so helpful when I told her that I am a tourist and visiting for the first time. She was so excited and told me some places that I can visit around the town. 5 star to the friendly staff.

Easy to find. Access via 2 different directions to the car park. Do note- TWO HOURS ONLY to park in the car park with anpr cameras. You will get a fine if you stay longer. Medium sized store. Easy to find goods.. Well stocked with some discounted products. The tills were a little bit chaotic with queues spilling into the Isles on a Saturday afternoon.. Maybe open 3 tills to begin with at peak times..
