“Fabulous cathedral, and just because it’s in a provincial town, don’t think it’s going to be smaller or second rate. It’s huge, very ornate inside and well worth a visit.”
“Prices are way better and affordable now. Excellent supply of greens and vegetables. All packaged foods are available and in dates. Long lasting expiry dates. Meat and Poultry options are plenty and best. Staff are friendly and supportive. Have been shopping regularly there. Definately worth the money and time.”
“Reasonable prices. Staff helpful”

“Had to take a UPS parcel for return, so went into this store for the first time. Parked right outside, automatic doors were helpful, and I found a really clean and tidy store with a great selection of produce. The man who served me was very polite and helpful, will be back.”
“Always such a lovely experience in M&S. Today we treated ourselves to the breakfast deal for £6. We had flat white coffe and then most amazing bacon breakfast roll. Bacon was the best we have had and the ciabatta rolls were perfect. Thank you.”
“Went in for a few cleaning supplies and ended up spending £50! Very well stocked. Friendly staff. Free parking. Need a £1 coin or trolley token for the trolleys. I don't have kids, but there are so many kids things I wanted!”

I grabbed a sausage and cheese muffin and a drink, the staff were lovely, I was served by Ange, who was lovely. This has to be one of the best co-op stores. Thank you”

“Co-op Food on Whitemoor Lane in Belper is such a handy local store! It’s always well-stocked with all the essentials, from fresh produce to daily groceries. The convenience of its location makes it perfect for quick stops, and the opening hours are great for anyone with a busy schedule. The staff are always polite, helpful, and make you feel welcome, which adds to the overall experience. I’ve noticed the store places a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing, which is a big plus. They also have a good selection of locally sourced products, which is fantastic to see. Whether it's for a quick top-up or a full grocery shop, Co-op Whitemoor Lane never disappoints. A great little spot for the community!”
“Always clean, well stocked and friendly staff.”
“Lovely foreign and British fresh fruit and veg grown in England, fresh cooked naans and pitta breads, also they have butcher , always busy,”
“Love this Coop store, it's my favourite! We have a few around here. The staff are brilliant and the selection of food is great.”
“Went to heron yesterday at Allenton. loved the fact that they challenged a shop lifter instead of just letting the man get away with it, the staff showed courage as he was a big guy, but the littlest of woman challenged him, well done to all the staff, brilliant team work.”
“Best place to go to for a food shop”
“Excellent Service from Nuno! But the team really needs to support him more. He is new and was left on the till by himself with huge queues. Rang the bell many times for support but no one arrived. He did brilliantly well to serve so many on his own”
“Decent size co-op when compared with the other local one. Even in Covid times, plenty of space for people to move around. Usually well stocked and staff are always friendly.”
“Just another typical Co-op! What Co-op do is brilliant. Brilliant in the simplicity of all they do. They stock a great range of food & drink, along with other bits & pieces for the home or even colouring books for the kids. With a very handy large carpark also, this store is a saviour for that purchase on your way home - or to a dinner out round friends.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff. Well done to the manager for recruiting staff, which interacts with customers. A breath of fresh air in comparison to the big Coop on Station Road.”
“Our village is lucky to have this place. There’s not much you can’t get from here, including seasonal items. Shelves are always well stocked and I especially love the fresh baked goods - can’t beat a freshly baked French stick !! The staff are lovely and friendly. Never had a bad experience here - treat others how you want to be treated !! Big shout out to Elaine ! Our favourite :-) and Bryan for operating such a great store. Keep doing what you’re doing !!”
“Decent prices, helpful staff Just a shame about the big issue women who sits in front of the entrance and makes me feel guilty about not giving money”
“Wide range of goods compared to other local Coop shops”
“Great store, plenty of stock and a fantastic choice. Always good prices at these B&M stores. Quick and friendly service at the checkout too. Not many parking spaces outside, so best getting there on foot.”
“Just bought some heavy plants from B&M. The service was fantastic. Chris and Gaz both helped to wrap them and take them to the car and then load them into the boot, and give advice on the care of the plants as well. Really friendly and helpful.”
