Didn't spend much time in the store as we visited their cafe for lunch. Food tasty and quick service although it can get busier so may have to queue. What we saw of the store was clean and well stocked. Unable to find the toilets that were shown on the website.
Sorted for a quick lunch while en route. The food was ok but my wife's flat white coffee was far better than my cappuccino. One thing that can't be beaten is the friendliness and helpfulness of the team - 5 stars for them, 3 for the food.
Always such a lovely experience in M&S. Today we treated ourselves to the breakfast deal for £6. We had flat white coffe and then most amazing bacon breakfast roll. Bacon was the best we have had and the ciabatta rolls were perfect. Thank you.
To be honest, most M&S are the same, with the same level of service, and this one is no different. Small to medium-sized store. There's free parking outside. A cafe inside. Self-serve tills as well as cashier tills. Service was fast and efficient. I can't fault, and it was a pleasure to visit.
I was excited when I saw M&S foods but it didn't excited me for long after looking at the menu.
Small local supermarket with lovely friendly staff. Advantage is a nice coffee bar. My shopping for basic items augmented by local butchers and other local shops until they expand the store.
Not normally a person posting a review on everyday mundane activities but yesterday encountered a bit of old fashioned customer service which lifted my spirits. I dropped into Marks at Ashbourne to pick up some shopping. Not familiar with this shop I asked a member of the M & S staff for help finding things. The lady called Jackie was so helpful & cheery it inspired me to tell everyone that customer service has not disappeared totally. Regards Julian from Derby.
