“It's not cheap, but it's worth it. The produce is good quality. Shelf life might be a bit short, but in my house it never lasts that long anyway. Also did you know you can collect loyalty points with a loyalty card and get money off your purchases? I found out today. Shop employees speak multiple languages usually, very helpful. Shop has long opening hours so you can make it after work easily. I like it, I go there in addition to my weekly grocery shopping to get bits and bobs. I recommend to try the spice blends for various meats, polish mayo, crunchy gherkins and the crisps”

“A very good bright store. Huge selection of products at good prices and own brand excellent quality. An organisation engrained in the local community. Large selection of Vegetarian options. I would highly recommend the own label products. There is a large carpark but also on the main bus route.”

“How the young guy at the till kept his cool with a customer insisting an on- line offer should be applied in-store was beyond me. The queue was getting longer and longer and more annoyed that another till opened briefly, then shut again. Manager was called, saying nobody available due to doors being open because of a delivery ( true, I saw the delivery wagon when entering retail park) . My only criticism is surely at near Xmas times that more people should move onto the tills when something like this occurs!! ? And to clarify on its on-line deals. Apart from that, it's generally a fantastic store, well run , well presented and clean . Credit to the young guy on the till on Saturday 16 December.”

“This isn’t as big as some of their other stores but it is packed with everything you could need. There’s a very good food section and aIso pet food section which are well worth visiting before going to the nearby superstore-some very good bargains to be had, particularly in catfood. The shelves are full of bargains in every department; there’s really no need to go into the town or travel further afield because everything is here: toiletries, bedding, gardening items, plants, seasonal items, electrical, toys… Lovey, clean store and great staff make it a great place to visit.”

“I recently visited the Heron Foods store in Barton and was very impressed. The store was very clean and tidy, with plenty of stock on the shelves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I was particularly pleased to see that the store had a wide range of frozen foods, as well as a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. I was also able to find a number of branded products at a discounted price. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Heron Foods in Barton. The store was clean, well-stocked, and had friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this store to others”

“This is a lovely M&S Simply Food Hall with a great little cafe. The cafe is always busy so we were lucky to find seats. Staff are lovely; coffee is good and the cafe is clean and tidy. I do love the way food is displayed and the seasonal displays leading up to Mothers Day and Easter. Fresh food always looks great and the bakery is particularly tempting. I also like the welcoming display of flowers in the entrance. Unlike many food stores there’s a good level of staff available and they are all super friendly and very knowledgeable about products.”

“Good sized store with a cafe and toilets (to the rear) prices on a par with Waitrose but there are meal offers and some basic priced products. The store is also a pick up point for online purchases. Not all tills are staffed but there are four self service tills.”
