“Bossman gave me a 50p energy drink for 40p absolutely legendary shop would recommend”
“I always use this shop!, they go above and beyond, when I go alone being a disabled person they will help around the shop and even carry my bags out to my mobility scooter!, they always have 99% of the stuff I need”
“I would like to make a few comments about my local co op. I have been a customer for over 25 years sadly my health has not been so good over the past couple years and this shop I feel comfortable going to on my own. The staff are always very helpful and kind to me and have helped me a few times. Natalie Teresa Carolyn Dan Laura Mel and Kim to name but a few but recently I went in and there was a young lad doing work experience he was smart looking well mannered and very kind and helpful his name is Shay a credit to his parents I'm sure he will go far in life and has restored my faith in the youth of today.”
“The frozen roasting joints are good Would like to know if lamb and beef joints 3 for a £10 on offer still”
“Excellent local co-op serving the community with the basics. Friendly helpful staff too.”
“Small M&S with a reasonable range, great for snacks and sandwiches that are decent quality while not having silly prices. You can also get a few essentials here and a ready meal for your tea after a long journey. Probably the best retailer in the place, certainly a brand I trust, and they accept my M&S chargecard so I can collect my &More points too.”
“I dont go in much but when I do, there is a specific man who is quite tall (sorry i havent got his name) and he is probably one of the nicest and most attentive customer service workers I have ever known. Keep it up its not unnoticed.”
“I like coop food stores that are a frontrunner of better labelling, and most of their produce is of good quality which in many instances is what you pay for. Unfortunately the coop as most people know is dearer than the big boy supermarkets although they profess you get a dividend on most products this will not amount to a great deal unless you only shop in coop and do you big shop there regularly, unfortunately I could not do this but as with many other shoppers coop is a drop in local shop to me which I do regularly!”
“Great little shop, prices are on the higher side, but handy, cash point, wheelchair accessible and friendly staff”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service! “I had a fantastic experience shopping at the new co op, staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. I needed assistance finding a few items, and an employee (Declan) went out of their way to guide me. The checkout process was smooth, and the cashier was polite and efficient. The store was clean, well-stocked, and organized, making my shopping even more enjoyable. Great service all around!”
“This is my local coop and I think its fantastic, The ready meals are always delicious and they have a good range of products, Brilliant if you are after doing a small shop Prices are very fare and the staff are beyond amazing they always have time to have a nice word to say, especially if you treat them like people, Always enjoy shopping there and the management should be very proud, Also the two oakwood branches too, Great bunch of people, Especially with this virus they are doing everything they can,”
“Always a good place to stop over for when you're going through there from uni to my house. There is a student discount scheme to help you with the costs of everything. It's a 10% discount if you sign up on their website. I'm not 100% if the scheme is still there. Worth asking inside, the staff are always ready to help. However, there is always an amazing deal foron their frozen isle where it's a 5 items for £5. It's so great and I think helped me with my low food budget! Would recommend!”
“The m&s has decent fuel prices and helpful staff. The food is a little bit overpriced but good quality”
“Nice place and nice staff, come out feeling good about self even though pocket feels lighter”
“Nice easy convenience shop, however i hadn't had any encounter w/ that specific rude staff many of the reviewers mention on the till because i use the self-checkout kiosk”
“Both j and Gaya are wonderful late night team members, always happy, polite and willing to go the extra mile for their customers, if you don’t have what the customer requests, they will offer you alternatives, what more could you ask for, these two need recognition for their hard work over night and for their great customer service, these two are the reason I keep coming back, because it is a pleasure to see their happy, smiley, helpful faces even at stupid o’clock in the morning, they make you feel welcome, they are a credit to your company”
“Just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic experience at Croots Farm yesterday. I took my wife and our two children (aged 4 and 6) to see Carl and the animals — and wow, we weren’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be absolutely brilliant. Carl was amazing — so gentle and patient with our kids, who are both slightly autistic. He made them feel completely at ease, and they were totally engaged the whole time. It was heartwarming to see how much they enjoyed it. We finished off with a delicious hot chocolate and some cake in the café, which was the perfect end to a lovely afternoon. The kids have already asked if we can come back again on Wednesday — and we absolutely will! Thanks again for such a memorable visit.”
“Love that center aisle .. Great specialty wines”
“10/10, 5/5. Great shop full of European products you won't find much in any UK supermarket like Sainsbury's etc. There's even a cafe with delicious looking cakes but never been there. Helpful staff. There's a small section w/ fresh bread, I tried this Vienna donut (cruller donut) which tasted really good: fluffy, soft & eggy on the inside--not too sweet”
“Lovely little shop in Sandiacre with a great range of balloons, gifts and sweets. The team are so friendly and go above and beyond—personalised items are always perfect and ready quickly. A real local gem, highly recommend!”
“Lovely and helpful. Made accessing much easier with door held open for my chair. Always have what I need. Thanks again.”
“Only just moved here, but the staff here are brilliant and there is a good selection for a small store.”
“Madina Paak Superstore under the new management of Besties International is amazing! The manager is so friendly, the staff are always ready to help, and the butcher is the nicest I’ve met. Best Asian superstore in town with both Pakistani & Indian groceries and even a European section with Romanian bread, yogurt, and drinks. Love the fresh halal meat at great prices and plenty of parking too!”
“Great shop with the best staff I've come across to my memory. Bobby makes his shop special.”
“Been using this shop for well over a year now & we have nothing but pleasant experiences here. All staff very friendly and always very welcoming when we bring the kids along, because of this.. the spar became our only go to when we're running low on things :) x”
“New owners have much improved the shop frontage and are trying new business lines - evri drop and collection is very helpful in the village. The butchers meat is excellent and can always get a good emergency high quality present from here. Excellent place to pick up ice creams after school. In my opinion there is less need for hot soup / daily baked goods and focus on staples needed locally (higher quality breads on a regular basis, fresh vegetables and stocking oat milk) - edited: they have oat and alternative milks and fresh veg now, fantastic to see feedback taken onboard, thanks!”
