   I regularly use this store and find the staff normally helpful and friendly, however the past few Sunday evenings I have dropped in I have found the staff to be anything but. On one occasion my Too Good To Go bag had not been prepared and one staff member told me I couldn't have one despite the out of date stock being in a trolley right in front of us. And just recently I was treated to three of them gossiping in front of the tills and was told to move aside whilst one of them was served. These are the sort of staff who find customers a hinderence instead of part of their job.

   I dont go in much but when I do, there is a specific man who is quite tall (sorry i havent got his name) and he is probably one of the nicest and most attentive customer service workers I have ever known. Keep it up its not unnoticed.

   Blonde in the glasses on the till was a power tripping horrid old woman telling my daughter what she can and can't spend the healthy start card on when she was asked to do an errand. Don't worry sweet heart, she got the same items at the other co op with the healthy start card! Get a life

   I visited this co-op today with a Vodafone voucher for a free co-op irresistible Peruvian chocolate bar. I went to the till to ask if they participate in the offer. The woman behind the counter seemed to have no idea whilst putting me to one side to serve another customer. Another woman came up to us, and the woman behind the counter asked, "do we do these vouchers?" She thought they do. She took me to where the chocolate bars are. She looked at the voucher and insisted it to be the dark chocolate that was pictured on the voucher. Bare in mind, the voucher gave me a choice between 7 bars to choose from. 5 dark chocolate with raspberry, orange, mint and 2 ordinary chocolate. I'm not keen on dark chocolate. So there were 2 that I like, blonde and millionaire milk chocolate. I asked "can I have the millionaire milk chocolate please?" She insisted it's the picture on the voucher. I showed her the list on the voucher and she seemed bothered. She then went and got the one I asked for. She then was disguising it with her behind the counter. Then the woman behind the counter said to me, "let me look at that again" as she snatched my phone out of my hand whilst saying, "I can't see this". She then put my phone on the counter saying, "try Bembridge Drive". As I was leaving the store, both women seemed to be ridiculing me by saying, "he wants millionaire chocolate" and laughing. Anyway, I went to Bembridge Drive co-op, and they treated me like a human being, and I got what I asked for. So I recommend Bembridge Drive co-op.

   Awful treatment today. I went in with PayPoint vouchers my landlord had sent to my phone. These vouchers never have a name, just a barcode, I have used vouchers like this at the Co Ops Post office and never had any issues. Today I was treated like a thievng chav. 4 middle aged ladies who raised their kids in a time before the worse cost of living crisis in history, treated myself, a single mum with a baby (the consequence of an abusive relationship, so no it wasn't self inflicted hardship) like scum. When I first asked the woman at the till to process the vouchers, she made me step aside and wait for another member of staff, during this time snide comments were being exchanged between herself and another middle aged female customer who was also throwing my children filthy looks. Another member of staff came out, took my phone into the office and then reappeared with yet another member of staff, both of which told me that they couldn't process the vouchers because I couldn't prove they were genuine. They told me to go in the next day to speak to the manager. At this point I had already paid for my shopping with my card, making my account overdrawn, the only reason I did this is because I was made to feel like an inconvenience and thought I would be able to put the voucher money straight into my account at the post office. Horrible judgemental women, they've no idea what it's like to raise children as a single mum in these times, I did not deserve their treatment at all. That Co Op is only worth going to for the post office. They are under contractual duty with PayPoint to process these vouchers. UPDATE: I contacted the manager this morning and it was confirmed that they didn't even try to process the vouchers because they assumed it was a con. So yes I was being treated like a thief, they didn't even ask for prove that the vouchers came from my landlord before assuming the worse of me. Horrible judgemental old women!
